The problem with adaptations is that they can't fully convey the depth of a well written novel. The story seemed to stem from an interesting premise, but the adaptation was jumpy and somewhat lacking. Perhaps I'll try the book. Well, once again I mistakenly grabbed book 2 instead of book 1. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll go back to it. I like Sherri's writing in the Dark-Hunter series, and these might make a fine story, but for me it didn't translate well to the graphic format. sigh.
