When we go to the library or a bookstore, my four year old and I both get to pick out books we want to read. This means that sometimes we end up with books that I would not pick out - including Disney adaptations. I admit, I come to this book with a bias and a bit of sadness that we aren't reading a more clever/interesting picture book that fits my taste, but in evaluating the language, art, and story of the book, this is not my favorite and is a poor adaptation.
