Its been a few days, and I am still reflecting on this book; it was past my expectations. I buckled up and boarded the crazy train; I fell in love with totally unhinged characters and wouldn’t have it any other way. I am still not ready to get off. Thank god there is going to be book two. This book gives you a complete look at three completely broken characters, past, and present, and it’s far from roses. It’s filled with darkness, demons, dark humor, and craziness. Some may be a little more unhinged than others. I also feel like I saw a supercharged Harley Quinn and the joker at times. Many of us did, and it’s true. It is phenomenal. The book is full of steam, crazy, character development, a fantastic plot, and so much more. Read the trigger warning. There is a ton of them, and it is not for the faint of heart. This book pulled me in, and I pulled an all-nighter to see what would happen next. The author left me wanting more. If you like dark and crazy, this book is for you. As I sit here writing this review, I am changing my four stars to five because I can't find any constructive criticism. Not one thing, It’s a beast of a book. I can’t wait for the next book.

And she never disagreed. Her methods and way of thinking are different and she is a raw weapon. The one who attacks first and then asks questions. Life has never been easy for her. She has had her share of horrors and there is no way she would let anyone break her. That is until she catches the eye of an animal even more twisted than her. Niall is the unhinged one in his family. Ever since he lost his wife years ago to a grusome murder , his head has never been right. Killing is the only thing that satisfied him to some extent. That is until he lays eyes on a girl whose whole soul spoke to his . She was just like him. Unhinged, just like him and there was no way he was letting her go. Mateo has been Niall's prisoner for months. Things become a bit more interesting in his bleak life when Niall brings home another prisoner. A girl who intrigues him. With her mouth that never stops talking, she is the one thing he wants all for himself and there is no way he is going to let Niall take that away from him too! a man without fear is a man without limits. I hadn't had any limits in ten long years.” Overall Opinion : These authors, it's like there is no trope they can excel in. When I first read about Niall in the Quarantine series, I knew how unhinged and crazy he was and how challenging it would be to write his book but damn these ladies hit the nail right on the head!! Niall, Brooklyn and Matteo have a take that will literally make you laugh so much and shiver front terror too. All these three are unhinged and together they are anyone's nightmare. The best part of this series of Brooklyn. She was this chatterbox woman who had gone through some terrible things but she never lost her spark. The things she said, omg, she had me damn near dying from laughter!!! Absolutely amazing! If you want to read an MFM take about three psychos who are so different yet so perfect together, then don't hesitate to read this one!! Also, the cliffhanger in this book was much milder than what I expected from these authors but it was still bad!! Highly recommended from my side! Leave it to Susanne and Caroline to make me fall in love with a bunch of psychos. This book was a crazy ride and I’m pretty sure it brought out a different side of me. Seriously, if I start going on a mass stabbing spread I’m going to blame them. I mean all the cops have to do is read this book themselves and I’m sure they would understand, right? This book is about three people with demons that have made them a little unhinged (okay maybe more than a little). You have Brookyln who experienced a horrid event that led to her making friends with the devil in her head. If you read the Brutal Boy series you know Niall already. The loss of his wife has left him with guilt and a need for blood. Then you have Mateo who has had a dark childhood and lacks control once he gets lost in his head. Brooklyn is kidnapped and sold multiple times before she ends up at Royaume D'elite, an elite club where all kinds of shady, criminal activity happens. They host the death games where 15 people fight to the death in a maze while members watch. After winning, Brooklyn is bought by Niall and taken back to his place. She is locked in the basement and finds she has a roommate. Mateo has been held captive for months for information Niall has been torturing him for. But no matter what he won’t say a word. Most of the story is just these three which were different from the other books the girls have written. I enjoy it just being this trio because we got to know them better and get a feel of how they interact with each other. Niall and Brooklyn’s banter was hilarious. I also loved Mateo’s possessiveness of Brooklyn. And of course there is the hate between Niall and Mateo. I’m definitely looking forward to how they will handle this in the next books. I think they would make a good team but there is a lot of growing and forgiveness that needs to be done which I don’t think either character is willing to do on their own. Luckily they both have a certain girl to help push them. I was so excited when this book was announced. I loved Naill from the Brutal Boys series so I just knew this book would be amazing. But I was thrown a curve ball because Niall wasn’t even my favorite character! Shocker, I know. I mean okay, he was a close second only about .00004 points behind. But no, Brooklyn took over my heart and soul. She was a riot and I couldn’t get enough of her. Her inner dialogue is just as good as her conversations with the guys. I love whenever she got common phrases wrong, especially when she would argue they were right. The fact that these authors were able to take this insane girl and make her someone I inspired to be is terrifying, but honestly, I'm okay with it. I mean she is a great killer and has two handsome devils fighting for her attention. I think she is doing just fine. So we are once again gifted a cliffhanger, though I don’t think it’s as bad as it could have been. I was scared at one point near the end that the book would be over. Thankfully the lovely sisters decided to not be as cruel as they’ve been in the past. I’m still going to be anxiously waiting for the next book though. Anyway, I’m off to name some kitchen knives and google where I can find Coco Pops. We can travel again, right? Maybe it’s time for a trip to England.

Love the idea, follow through not so much I absolutely loved the idea of psycho guys with a psycho girl badass bustin balls and taking names. Didn’t happen. Let me be clear, they weren’t making fun of mental health, but their way of showing crazy was a constant stream of internal rambling of phrases that don’t make sense in a way that cues the reader that there’s a few screws loose in the leads’ heads. The female lead. There could’ve been such potential. But instead of making her sound like a tough chick they made her sound like a little baby with mental illness trying so hard to be funny. Again. I get it. The authors want you the reader to think she’s a funny psycho but she just comes off as obnoxious and dumb... and slow-ish? Her ramblings were just childish? They tried to make her funny by her messing up words to songs like “Hokey Cokey” instead of “hokey pokey”. The way she talked to some people with her ramblings just made her sound dumb. She was part of a hunger games type situation and in it she said to this one girl with a ponytail “stupid ponytail b***h is there a horse’s a** under there”... like stupid little comments like that. It lowers the potential of this book. It’s these baby-ish immature phrases that just annoyed the heck outta me and killed this book. I wanted a badass psycho killer female lead with skills, instead I got a coocoo for Cocoa Puffs girl who’s IQ points are getting lower by every dumb thing and long winded ramble that comes out of her mouth. Her lack of sexual experience coupled with what comes out of her mouth from a sexual standpoint is cringe-worthy. I’m not even going to get into the guys. I feel like the authors were trying to channel Harley Quinn but failed. There’s a fine line of psycho, but let’s not forget that while Harley is psychotic, she is also a very well educated female lead. This lead was not. The male leads aren’t as awful and disappointing. I felt like majority of this book was getting nowhere. The bulk information was the beginning and the very end, then it’s overwhelmed by junk dialogue that takes over the entire middle of the book with no real progression. I notice the next book is out in 2022. Dear authors, please for the love of everything, fix this next book.

I've wanted more of Niall ever since he popped up in Everlake prep, everyone loves a serial killer right! I suppose technically he's an assassin, but he loves a good killing spree...potato potatoe. This book is pretty crazy, if you want humour, hijinx and the odd bit of murder this is one for you. It's about three deeply flawed people who have been broken and remade with darkness and hellfire. Two are a little bit crazier than the other, which was kinda restful when in his POV. Brooklyn has always been a little off her rocker but when an attack on her happened that left her feeling a shattered, she decided to seek vengeance and went on a killing spree. She almost accomplished her job but two survived. She was then put in a mental institution. Again she learned that men are nasty creatures who do horrible things to women’s bodies without their consent. She escaped and has been on the run. Here’s where the book it’s totally interesting. She gets captured by men who end up selling her. And then gets put in this Hunger Games scenario where she has to fight for her life and she catches the eye of a Irish mafia fixer, Niall. He becomes the second main character of the book. He is also completely mentally unstable and bat shit crazy and you cannot help it just fall in love with this man. “ hellfire. A sad, sad boy who felt as empty and alone as me. “ We call him Hell Fire. He ends up buying Brooklyn. And I don’t think he quite knows what he wants to do with her but possibly train her to become maybe a partner? He’s very intrigued by Brooklyn but wants to remain her captor as he is dealing with some grief from losing someone close to him. And he’s also going through a arranged marriage that his father has requested. And then we meet the third main character, Mateo. * I’m telling you all right now I am laying full claim to this man.* He is a Mexican cartel fixer who has been a captive living in a small metal box basically of Nialls. Mateo refuses to give information to Niall that he wants. He’s had an extremely rough life and hasn’t seen the light of day for months while shitting in a bucket in the corner for six months. Brooklyn nicknamed him Dead Man. These two captives form a very interesting bond. And Brooklyn actually gets under Nialls skin as well. -There is sexy time with Brooklyn and both men. But not all three together. - It’s a totally unconventional trio of crazy ass people who are brutal killers and completely hilarious. I am not new to these authors, but what I can definitely say is noone can do dark comedy like they can. I haven’t read anything that comes close to the writing style of this duo Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti. I thought I had another series of theirs labeled as my favorite. But this book literally grabbed my attention from the first word to the very last. It does leave off on a cliffhanger. There’s going to be definite triggers. I mean this is full of murder. Talks of rape. More murder. blood and drama. And mayhem. But in between all of this and the hot ass sex.. it’s full of comedy. I mean, I was laughing through the entire book out loud. 5/5 (I won’t lower my rate over it, but I really wish that I didn’t sign up for this ARC and then spent the entire day reading it only to see that the next book won’t come out till March 2022... omfg 😫)

Brooklyn is the MFC, who has been living out in the streets for a long time until one day she is kidnapped and sold. She has to fight for her own life in a death game and ends up being bought (again) by Niall. However, she won’t be the only captive. Niall had also kidnapped Mateo, the other MMC, who he has been torturing for months to find out where Mateo hid loads of money he stole from one cartel. If there is something that is quite unique in this book is the main characters’ inner monologue, especially Niall and Brooklyn’s. They are quite crazy and you cannot stop laughing at their thoughts. Also, seeing Brooklyn trying to become a professional killer was hilarious. Mateo’s personality is darker and more serious. I didn’t feel that much connection to him in this book so I am hoping that improves in the next books. As the book is quite heavy on getting to know the characters, I found the plot a bit slow, especially once Brooklyn was in Niall’s house. However, there are lots of elements that have been introduced which I am quite excited about, especially around the gangs and Niall’s family. It wouldn’t be a Caroline Peckham & Susanne Valenti’s book without a cliffhanger, I cannot wait for the next one to find out what happens next!

They are as different from eachother as they can be but one thing pulls them together...fate or lets say the BIG RED..😜😂😈. Brooklyn was sold multiple time before she entered hell on earth...Royaume D’élite, a place where darkness resides and innocent are sold for pleasure of depraves. Niall instantly felt a connection to her and he bought her...not to save her but to harness her skill to kill and make a partner out of her...but its so easy said then done.... Mateo was trapped in Niall's basement for almost a year with him being tortured back and forth for information and Brooklyn came as a surprise to both of them...she was everything they wanted AND needed. Isn't it the proof of author's talent when she makes you laugh at your FMC killing people and dancing on their corpse...Hell yeah! I know Niall was the one who make them come together but it was Brooklyn who bonded them. I got Serious Joker and Harlequin vibes from this book...I believe they even broke the crazy perimeter... I have never laughed at, loved, and obsessed over a character more than Brooklyn...there were innocence and vulnerability to her( as much innocence a killer can have). Niall...oh God!! This guy...I met him in the previous books but it was amazing to see him in action...every expectation of mine was met to the T... Mateo was the unfamiliar one but he too made me fall for his broody exterior... Omg... this book is everything!! Who knew I was this into psychos!! What a crazzzzyy adventure that was and the start of my favourite new series.. These characters seriously make Harley Quinn look sane! You are gonna fall hard for Brooklyn, Niall & Mateo!! They are hands down the funniest, deadliest crazies I’ve ever read about! Niall saw something in Brooklyn the moment he laid eyes on her and what Niall wants Niall gets! She is fiery, deadly, totally bonkers & simply the best character ever!! He has definitely met his match in Brooklyn, but will he let the demons of the past that haunt him go, to give into the temptation of a ‘spider’ that’s challenging him at every turn & tipping his life upside down?! I loved their constant bickering & banter, their shared love for coco pops and the sexual tension that’s hotter than the fiery pits of hell. Mateo is such a dark & brooding character, he too has demons he struggles to control and also has something Niall wants but refuses to give him! Captured, alone & tortured for months.. he wants out & he wants revenge! Brooklyn becomes Mateo’s new roomie & dam do these two create sparks I can’t wait for this crazy adventure to continue... I loved every second of it, apart from it ending... I need more, roll on society of psychos

Brooklyn, Aka his spider, this girl holy shit i've laughed so much at her own internal voice! the way she reasoned and thought was so funny and interesting it just kept me on my toes. Nobody knows where the wind will take this wild girl. She's been through enough to know the only person to trust is herself, but somehow she ends making connection with the prisoner next to her and her kidnapper. The prisoner next to her Matteo could be described as an avenging beast who kinda lost his spirits but it awakens after seeing the light come in to his life in the form of a devilish girl! He doesn't know what to expect of her but his instict is telling him to protect her, but he also wants to wrap his hands around her throat and see the lights go out hahahah i mean twisted much?! but oh well thats his way of loving i guess hahahah you kinda get used to the beast and see him a bit more as a teddy bear. Niall, The psycho i've been waiting to meet and get to know more. I feel like i got inside his head a bit more, but there is so much to see and once you get a peek you want more. It's a bit like this book. it felt like in introuduction of the character and their situation and the start of everything and i can't wait to read more about them all!

First off I need to advise * If you are a mother make sure you have plenty of snacks and movies planned to keep your children away from you, and so they won't starve* This is a lock yourself in a room, neglect your children, so hooked you may not eat, or sleep yourself kind of book!!! Phenomenal read as always. As if we ever expected something else from our Queens!! I loved the FMC. She had me laughing so hard, and crying. I was just an emotional mess over her. Niall is such a crazy and interesting character and I always wanted to know more about him since we got some bits and pieces of information about him in the Brutal Boys of Everlake Prep series. Now that I finally got my hands on his story, I’m happy to say that I loved this book and I loved his twisted mind. But if we’re talking about twisted minds, then I’ll definitely have to talk about Brooklyn. Brooklyn is such a crazy character and I was constantly laughing with the things she was thinking and saying. She’s such a special character and I loved reading her thoughts and feelings. Niall was also really interesting because we got to know some more about his past and about Ava. Brooklyn and Niall are both psyxy. Lastly, we have Mateo. I feel like we still don’t know a lot about him, but I really like him. I also think he’s really sweet in a special kind of way.I really liked Dead Men Walking because it’s a ménage for once. I usually read about monogamous relationships or reverse harem relationships, but I really liked this ménage relationship. RH is really cool and hot, but it’s not always that realistic, in my opinion. With a ménage, it’s kinda more realistic I think. But don’t get me wrong, I still really enjoy reading RH. The relationship between Brooklyn, Niall and Mateo is still really crazy and not a real relationship yet, but I cannot wait to read the others book and see how they will fall in love with each other! The Death Club was such a good first book in a new series, and I’m so excited for the other books in the Dead Men Walking series. Brooklyn is such a funny character and she cannot stop talking, lol. And Niall and Mateo are such hot men and I cannot wait to read more about them! The Death Club was an amazing read and I enjoyed every bit of it!

I was so looking forward to this book! As a fan of the Brutal Boys of Everlake Prep, Uncle Niall completely charmed me with his psychopathic ways. So hearing that he was getting his story told was so exciting. And Caroline & Susanne did not disappoint! In this book, we get to learn more about Niall. We got a glimpse of his backstory but now we truly start to learn a little more about the man. He’s got a bit a twisted sense of humor but that’s okay. Beneath all that crazy is a man broken by grief. I was so looking forward to this book! As a fan of the Brutal Boys of Everlake Prep, Uncle Niall completely charmed me with his psychopathic ways. Beneath all that crazy is a man broken by grief. Enter Brooklyn. She’s a tough cookie. Well, one of those with the crispy outside and the chewy center. She’s had to fight her own demons, real and figurative, but that’s made her a strong, fierce, unintentionally funny, and somewhat crazy girl. She’s slightly fractured, treading that fine line between naïveté and insanity She’s caught Niall’s eye and his heart. And then there’s Mateo. Being held hostage by Niall for months has done nothing positive for the relationship between the two except cement their mutual hatred. Mateo is stubborn about most things and possessive about Brooklyn. I can just feel this getting good as the series progresses. This story is full of twists, turns, torture, betrayal, heartbreak, and darkness. It’s also got friendship, laugh-out-loud moments, and the strange kind of camaraderie that only pain and loneliness as darkness can create. As with all Caroline and Susanne books, this story was well written, had a great pace, had well-developed characters, and an appropriate level of steam given that all the characters are broken in some way. Of course there’s a cliffhanger, but it’s not too bad. And I for one can’t wait for the next installment!!!

see now, i would’ve really enjoyed this because the mc is such a fresh air from the norm, but with all the underlying ignorance/racism toward mexicans (specifically mateo, an mc and love interest (!!!)) veiled as comedic thoughts by psychos that isn’t really trying too hard to be hidden at all (see: brooklyn upon meeting mateo “Do you speak the English?”, niall’s “he was only a fucking mexican!”, and mateo’s overall characterization (more like caricaturization) and treatment (him acting and bein see now, i would’ve really enjoyed this because the mc is such a fresh air from the norm, but with all the underlying ignorance/racism toward mexicans (specifically mateo, an mc and love interest (!!!)) veiled as comedic thoughts by psychos that isn’t really trying too hard to be hidden at all (see: brooklyn upon meeting mateo “Do you speak the English?”, niall’s “he was only a fucking mexican!”, and mateo’s overall characterization (more like caricaturization) and treatment (him acting and being treated like a dog; of course since he’s mexican, he’s part of the cartel, and he speaks spanglish/spanish that was likely nabbed off google translate but idk, his moniker is El Burro and he’s referred to as a donkey a few times) and chapter 20, where brooklyn unnecessarily goes into graphic detail about her assault/rape among a couple other things, i can’t say i enjoyed this much even if i really liked the characters SEPARATELY as in a removed from their storyline together kind of thing if that makes sense

Niall and Mateo are just as broody with a side serving of MAYHEM and i am drawn to these characters! But holyhell the relationship & dynamics of these three are AMAZINGGG! This is the start to a fantastic series & on one HELLA different level. I can't wait to embrace this LEVEL OF CRAYYY in the rest of the series!

Brooklyn blew every other FMC out of the water. She is absolutely amazing. I knew I would love this book because I have been dying for Niall's story since we first met him in the KoQ series but I was NOT expecting to fall so hard for Brooklyn. Niall came in a close second, but the sister killed it with Brooklyn. I wish I could just live in Brooklyn's mind. She is insane, and incredible, and absolutely everything. I don't think I've ever laughed at a character so much. Her inner dialogue is hilarious. There are so many sayings that she just gets wrong. At first I thought, "is this a typo?", but no, Brooklyn is just crazy. She gets everything wrong but believes she is right. And her Spanish interpretations are so much better than the true translations. Her under the bridge stories are gold. She will have you laughing from page one until the end of the book. Niall is everything I expected. The perfect psycho killer who will keep you on the edge of your seat. I loved getting a look into his past and learning more about his wife and family. He obviously has a soft spot for Brooklyn as he would give in to her demands often and their banter sometimes reminded me of children arguing but was so fun to read. Mateo is super possessive of Brooklyn. His childhood was pretty dark and he has trouble maintaining control. The hatred between Mateo and Niall is extreme, with good reason, but Brooklyn forces them to at least tolerate each other every once in a while. I'm looking forward to seeing their love for Brooklyn bring them to work together. Which is going to happen because they will both do anything for her. But honestly, who wouldn't? I can't wait for the next book. I desperately need more Brooklynisms and hot psycho killers. I may name all of the weapons in my house while I am waiting and beg some UK friends to send me some Coco Pops to keep a little Brooklyn in my life.

Mateo stole my heart, even though he’s grumpy and angry and well...totally evil. I just loved the way he feels about Brooklyn from the start. Niall spends most (ok - ALL) his time fighting his connection to Brooklyn, which is understandable given his past but hopefully he gets beyond it in book 2. Niall is sooo much fun, he and Brooklyn are drawn from the same cloth and they’re perfect for each other. I hope Brooklyn ends up with them both and that they don’t kill each other. The writing is genius in this; all of Brooklyn’s sayings, the fights over stupid things, the bridge stories.... it’s all perfect. I cannot recommend this book enough, I honestly can’t imagine someone not loving it.

All the feelings! The Sisters have done it again! I'm reeling after devouring The Death Club! What a story, and what a roller coaster of emotions! Hot damn, do Caroline and Susanne write compelling characters with deep and dark pasts. This book is slightly different from some of their other books in that a lot more happens in the characters heads as they work out and live with the demons of their pasts. The Sisters still weave a captivating story of how these three come together, but each of them stands alone and holds the scenes when it’s their chapter. You know you’re going to be taken on one crazy journey along this series. The story and their history is bleak and dark, but there are plenty of light and laugh out loud bits to make it fun and gripping. Literally, you don’t want to put it down. The FMC Brooklyn is one crazy bitch, but said with so much love and respect in my heart. She was a Little Psycho, but in such a great way – makes the nickname Naill gives her work. She’s had a very very rough and dark past and may or may not be clinically insane, but she doesn’t let little things like a diagnosis stop her from being the best assassin – or really assassin in training. We see her go from someone alone and living on the streets to a part of a club. It’s not a smooth journey, but that’s why you have to keep reading to find out more. I love her relationship with the guys as each of them speaks to different parts of her soul and personality. I’m so excited to see where she goes as the story continues. The Guys Niall – we met Niall in Brutal Boys of Everlake Prep as Kyan’s crazy uncle. You loved it when he came up in that book, and you’ll love it every time it’s his chapter. Even without reading the other series, you still get a great sense of who he is and what drives him. He’s one big barrel of crazy fun, and you just never know what’s going to happen. His relationship with Brooklyn is tough to watch at first as he fights with everything he has due to keeping his distance to honour his dead wife, but it’s so satisfying to see those walls start to come down. Mateo – Love him so much. We only got a little sliver of who he really is and where he fits into the overall plot, but you can tell he’s going to be a major player with the gang/mob plot lines later on! I cannot wait to get a bit more about who he was in his fixer role with the cartel! He and Brooklyn are also such a sweet couple. They are what each other needs without realizing it fully. It feels like they’ve built a solid foundation which will be built upon during the series Plus, I cannot wait to see how the hatred brewing between Niall and Mateo will simmer down to what’s hopefully love in this menage! The Smut Hot! Again the Sisters are amazing at writing the best sexy scenes and building that scalding sexual tension. We get a taste of what each of the couples will be like, but there are soo many places they can take it in the coming books as a group, and I cannot wait! All in all, read this book! You will get a bit more out of it if you have the context of Brutal Boys of Everlake Prep, but how could you not want to read more from Caroline and Susanne?!

I had no clue what to expect going in since I've never read these authors before, but quite a few of my blogging friends always rave about their talent, so I gave in and signed up for this book, and I am SO glad I did! From the very first page I was so in love with our little psycho spider (AKA Brooklyn) and the way she saw the world, and how she not only embraced her darkness but OWNED it. She had a horrible thing happen to her, and instead of letting it destroy her, she rose like a Phoenix and unleashed hell on all those that wronged her. Honestly, she's my all time favorite psycho and I want to be best friends with her. She's such a contradiction too: she's an innocent killer and I promise you will understand what I mean you read this book. I fell for her instantly, and she's easily my favorite part of this book. As for the men, Mateo has my heart. Sorry not sorry. There's just something about a huge, gruff/growly man that gets all soft for his woman that makes me turn into a gooey mess. They are both held captive, and even though they have vastly different experiences, they have such an incredible bond. It's very physical, yes, but there's so much emotion as well. Mateo is so fiercely protective of her, and between their hand holding and cuddling, I just need so much more. He is definitely her safe place in all the chaos surrounding them and I just love that so much!! As for Niall -- I really, really adore him. He's psycho, damaged in the worst of ways, but has a great heart. As soon as he sets his eyes on Brooklyn he just has to have her, and essentially makes her his protege.. But it's always one step forward two step backwards with them. They are both so hard headed, and their anger definitely gets the better of them most of the time, but they definitely understand each other at their very core. The darkness in each of them calls to the other, and I truly think they can create something magical together if only Niall would STOP pushing her away. He really pissed me off during their last interaction when he lost her for good (well, at least for now) and he might make it up to Brooklyn, but he definitely needs to grovel to me as well, lol. However, seeing both Mateo and Niall set aside their hatred for one another to go protect their girl? All the yes. I need more of that! And maybe they can share a lollipop in book two finally?!😂😂😂 I legit cheered so hard towards the end when Brooklyn got her revenge on the two people who hurt her the most. My little psycho came out to play in the best of ways and I am HERE for it. I also need all rapists to be killed in this manner from now on.🙌🙌 I refuse to spoil the actual plot of the book, especially since *so* much happens (seriously, it's a long book, but you have to pay attention to every single detail) but you just need to go in blind. There's no other way! Just be warned -- these three will consume your entire being and you will ignore all your other responsibilities until you get to the very last page! I need book two asap! **I received an ARC of this book and these are my honest opinions!**

Have you ever watched Batman, or the Suicide Squad, and though Harley was a bad momma jamma who needed someone who understood her. Yeah, well this book is the kind of material that will make your heart skip a beat... And I mean come on, this is the bonus chapter turned bonus book that we were asking for after the Queen of Quarantine. First of all, I just love this character, Brooklyn, she full of flaws and is completely broken. But you know what I think that's what makes her special. She's honest, she's a bit scary, fearless, and knows what she wants. She's straight up crazy She's been through the wringer. She's been left behind, destitute, mistreated, victimized by people and by the system. Basically everyone has failed her in one way or another. But she still has this sort of innocence, or look of the world that is lost by many who have endured what she has, which makes her in my book, one of a kind. Niall, Niall, Niall, what can I say other than my poor soul just bleeds for you. I just can't say how much I love you, i just want to cuddle you. His backstory in Queen of Quarantine and as well as in this book, show his loss and also his lack of care. He's a daredevil. He's a maniac. But he also has his own code which leads him to having Brooklyn in his life. Who is just like him in some ways. Niall has a lot that prevents him from moving forward with his life, because of guilt, but with this book, we start to see the transition to a new part of his life, with Brooklyn. Honestly his whole persona and sexual tension, is just off the charts for me. Mateo, is one hot cartel ex-member who is jailed in Niall's personal own cell. It's funny to see the dynamic between Niall and him. Out of Niall, Mateo, and Brooklyn, he's honestly the most sane. He stole from the cartel only to be caught and tortured by Niall. Poor thing. But in his incarceration he is able to meet Brooklyn, who he begins to care for. I love how jealous Mateo and Niall are over her affections, especially since they're already death enemies to begin with. But Brooklyn like Mateo, has a lack of family and love, and is why I believe the connect and bond so quickly. They're relationship is smokin' in my opinion. Anyways this book is filled with laughs, action, and just down right smexy scenes. I'd definitely recommend and can't wait for more.

Niall is the youngest son of an Irish mob boss. He hates his entire family except for one nephew. His soul was shattered 10 years ago when his wife was tortured & murdered all to get back at him for doing his family's business, he's their attack dog/hitman. Hes now a sad, broken shell of his last self - psycho with rage issues and without any cares!💔😭 Brooklyn was always a shy, slightly strange child but she was loved & cared for by her Dad. When he died & her Mum abandoned her to her uncles care, her life went downhill rapidly. She was badly bullied & ostracized throughout high school but on Prom night everyone was kind & included her. Then they shattered her soul in the woods & she became known as the 'Bully Butcher'. 😭💔 Mateo has no real idea what he did wrong, only that his mother said a demon possessed him. She took him to the Catholic Nuns to be cleansed & he went through exorcism's for years. He was locked in rooms, trunks, beaten, burned, chanted over & more, for years without being saved. His soul shattered & darkness bled in deep and stayed.💔😭 These three broken psychos end up 'sharing' a house under some rather odd circumstances. Niall & Brooklyn are really quite funny, their inner voice & self reasoning is hilarious. Their arguments are that of 7 year olds in a playground & end just as you'd expect.😂 They're both crazy-wild & unpredictable. Mateo is a different kettle of crazy altogether.😒 He's quiet, controlled, controlling & strategic, he reminded me of a shark!😳 He's full of hatred, especially for Niall. He takes things personally, a bit understandable in the circumstances!🙈 There are some smoking hot scenes throughout.🔥 Niall's guilt for wanting her is heart breaking.💔 His rejection really hurts her too. She just doesn't understand things in a normal way, painful.😭 I felt like both Niall & Brooklyn were both desperate to connect & feel something real. Mateo gives the impression it's about ownership only, I hope book #2 changes that opinion.🙏 These characters are 100% what sell this storyline, they're captivating in their broken hearts, souls & minds.😍 Can I point out I didn't like Niall's Dad when we met him in the 'Brutal Boys of Everlake Prep' series, what he does to his son in this book is pure evil though, he's loathsome!😡 Some Trigger Warnings: Violence, Reliving Past Trauma, Murder Spree's etc But honestly because the violence is generally directed at evil pieces of 💩 or it's in self defence, it almost doesn't make you cringe as much.🙈🙉 A book definitely worth reading!💥🌟 Debbie, 1970, UK

Whatever it was it was fan-freaking-tastic! This is one freaking crazy rollercoaster ride of unimaginable cuckoo Coco Pops crazy story. It’s dark, it’s deranged, it’s delicious and it’s filled with insane debauchery at its best. I have never laughed so hard at someone killing someone else as I did with this book. I felt a little demented myself but I couldn’t help laughing at all the crazy murder and mayhem and cheering Brooklyn on every insane step of the way. “Hello pretties, I’ve come for tea. Is there cake? I do like cake. But only when it’s served with a side of murder.” Brooklyn is one freaking unhinged, totally sassy, and completely badass little killer. She’s 100% certifiable but completely hilarious at the same time. She is like a wacked-out version of Harley Quinn. But you can’t help but fall in love with her spirit and her attitude. Her interactions with people and her inner dialogs are freaking hilarious and she kept me in stitches. “I don’t die on the ground like a pigeon fallen from its perch, I die like a warrior with fire blazing all around me and the whole world roaring my name!” Niall and Mateo are two similar but different psychopaths that have fallen for Brooklyn’s kind of craziness. Niall is a mentally unstable killer with so much darkness and pain in his past that Brooklyn’s pain and craziness calls out to him. Mateo has just as many demons in his past that make him the dark, broody, crazy killer he is. They are both fierce, sexy, beasts, who can’t keep their hands off Brooklyn. “She was wild, brutal, clearly untrained but also full of that fire which I recognized so easily because it burned in me too. She was a kindred soul. Someone so full of pain and hate that the only cure for it was violence. I knew that feeling well. And I wanted to get a taste of hers.” “She was the sweetest poison, her flesh an addiction I wanted to ruin myself over.” The sexual tension between Brooklyn, Niall and Mateo was so FREAKING HOT!! Like explode your panties while reading it kind of hot! It oozed off the pages and left me begging for more. These three are a highly explosive bomb waiting to go off! Be ready because this story is THICK. It will keep you up late at night wanting to finish it. It’s a story filled with everything you want in a humorous, dark romance. Brilliantly written with such phenomenal characters and a storyline that keeps you utterly riveted to your seat begging the authors for more. And we definitely want more of this! I loved every second of this crazy adventure and I can’t wait for more!

THE DEATH CLUB by Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti - Review NOTE: THE DEATH CLUB is the first book in the Dead Men Walking series. The series is a spin-off of the Brutal Boys of Everlake Prep series. It isn’t necessary to read the Brutal Boys series first, but you will have a better understanding and a greater appreciation for Niall. The series is a spin-off of the Brutal Boys of Everlake Prep series. It isn’t necessary to read the Brutal Boys series first, but you will have a better understanding and a greater appreciation for Niall. He is truly a wonderful character and he really came alive in Queen of Quarantine, the last book in the Brutal Boys series. Brooklyn has already seen the evil that hides inside regular-looking people. She fought back and survived, but ended up in a psych hospital. There she met more evil but was able to escape. Since then she’s been living on the streets, staying away from people, and trying to stay out of custody. But, evil isn’t done with Brooklyn yet. This time it comes in the form of men looking to kidnap her and sell her. Still, Brooklyn survives. Niall is the son of the head of the Irish Mob. The one sent to do the dirty work. He doesn’t mind killing, torturing, and maiming. In fact, he’s more at home with blood and gore than at a forced family dinner. Resigned to live a solitary life due to the guilt he lives with over losing his wife, Niall is stunned by the connection he feels when he looks at a scrappy, mouthy girl forced to fight to the death for the entertainment of others. He knows he’s got to get her out of there or else she’ll be sold and used by the worst of the worst until she’ll be all used up. After years of working as a trusted member of a crime family, Mateo had enough and decided to take drastic steps to escape. He took money that belonged to his boss and had plans to disappear. Unfortunately for him, Niall wanted that money for himself and he wasn’t afraid to torture Mateo to get it. Mateo proved a tough nut to crack and never said so much as a word until Brooklyn was left with him in his basement prison and her crazy ramblings and innocent vulnerability changed him. Brooklyn winds her way around Niall’s and Mateo’s hearts without them even realizing it, but life has never been easy for Brooklyn so of course, evil isn’t done with her yet. She is the only thing that could possibly get Niall and Mateo to work together. And work together they’ll have to if they want to have Brooklyn in their lives. THE DEATH CLUB is a dark menage romance filled with violence, blood, and gore. However, it is filled with heartwarming and funny moments, too. I can’t wait to see what happens in SOCIETY OF PSYCHOS, Book 2. #TalkNerdyPR #talknerdy2me #thedeathclub #book #review #bookreview #bookstoread #bookstagram #kindlereads #darkromancereads #alwaysreading #booklover #bookworm #booksmakemehappy #spicybooks #kinkyreads

This book is completely bonkers and I absolutely loved every second of it. Caroline and Susanne really know how to make you fall in love with these psychos! I don’t think I have ever read anything funnier than The Death Club, this book should seriously come with a warning to hold on tight to your pelvic floor muscles. (especially if you have popped out a few kids like I have) This book does have some crossovers with the Everlake Prep series but can be read without having first read that. (especially if you have popped out a few kids like I have) This book does have some crossovers with the Everlake Prep series but can be read without having first read that. There are three main characters (Brooklyn, Niall and Mateo) and the book is written with each chapter alternating between their POV. I love books like this as you get a deeper understanding of each character. Brooklyn is completely crazy and I love the way her brain works. Her inner dialog is hilarious. She has experienced some awful stuff in her teenage years and committed some pretty violent acts but still has some innocence about her. She is definitely up there as one of my all-time favourite FMC. Niall is a raging psycho assassin that names all his murder weapons. He carries a lot of guilt and self-loathing and he doesn’t want to get close to anyone. He is completely unpredictable and relishes the violence and pain. Mateo is a silent broody man with a devilish mind. Once he gets fixated on something he won’t let it go and Brooklyn is his new obsession. He has had a horrible childhood which has left him with scars both mentally and physically. He has to fight his demon every time he is with Brooklyn. I’m not going to go into the story line as you really need to read it and discover it yourself. The blurb gives you an idea of what it’s all about. The only thing I will say is all three of these characters are after a better life than the one they are currently living. Hopefully together they can find it (but we will have to wait and see) As always with this sister duo, the story is fantastically written and comes with a nice cliffy to keep your mind thinking about these characters long after you have finished the book. Really looking forward to book 2, Society of Psychos. Thanks again ladies for another truly amazing book!!!

So it’s official. Susanne and Caroline can write anything and I will love it. The Death Club follows three characters: Brooklyn, Niall, and Mateo. All different but all have one thing in common. They’re a bit…psycho. All three have demons from their past and all three handle them the same way( the stabby way). All three have demons from their past and all three handle them the same way( the stabby way). If you’ve read The Brutal Boys’ of Everlake Prep you will have already been introduced to Niall. Funny and a tad deranged. Mateo is Niall’s prisoner, also a bit crazy. and Brooklyn has an innocence to her but also a murdery side so those clash quite humorously. “I don’t die on the ground like a pigeon fallen from its perch, I die like a warrior with fire blazing all around me and the whole world roaring my name!“ When Brooklyn finds herself captured by some bad guys, little do the bad guys know that she is even worse than them. Taken to some crazy club where rich people pay to see unseemly things, Brooklyn is put in an arena to fight to the death. It’s here that Niall first lays eyes on her. Feeling drawn to her type of crazy, Niall decides to find out what she’s made of and buys her freedom. Going from one cage to another does not make a happy Brooklyn. Until the promise of Coco Pops are thrown in the mix. And a broody, mysterious man locked up with her. The three of them are all set on slaying their demons. Brooklyn wants to make her assaultees pay and Mateo hates his captor with every fibre of his being especially when Niall locks Brooklyn up too. Niall, broken after losing his wife, just doesn’t care about anyone anymore. Until Brooklyn comes into both their lives and shakes things up. “Ah well, like the last greatest Irish man I ever knew once said to me: all is fair in death and chaos- and if my time has come to pass, let me go with a blade in my hand, and without any class. My great uncle had technically been insane, but I felt he made plenty of good points.” And boy is there death and chaos in this. and lots of insanity. I give this 5 out of 5 stabby stars. Is it next year yet so I can get my hands on the sequel?!?!?!
