A sweet sexy story from one of my favorite authors. We met this couple in the other book but this time we get their story. I felt so bad for our heroine the way she grew up, the relationship she learned from, her parents were not a great example of love. So she didn't believe it caused anything but pain. ARC received for an honest review I have been waiting for Luke Finnegan's story since I finished his brother Baker's story I liked that Luke was more than his QB1 persona. This is the 3rd book this week that I have read where the woman has done the same thing, and by the time Mily started doing it, I was over it. If I hadn't read it so many times in such a short period of time, it wouldn't have bothered me. However, it is what it was and it did affect my enjoyment of the book - sorry Ms Valentine, I liked the banter between everyone, loved the way Baker and Luke and their family made their way back to each other. And then there is Milo. Oh boy, that guy lol. I can. not. wait for him to find the woman that brings him to his knees! a>

CHAOS AND LOVE is the second instalment in Michelle A Valentine’s contemporary, new adult CAMPUS HOTSHOTS erotic, romances series. This is college quarterback Luke Finnegan, and graphic design student Miley St. Claire’s story line. CHAOS AND LOVE can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. This is college quarterback Luke Finnegan, and graphic design student Miley St. Claire’s story line. CHAOS AND LOVE can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story line is revealed where necessary. There is a slight cross over with the mention of the author’s Black Falcon series. Told from dual first person perspectives (Luke and Miley) CHAOS AND LOVE follows the building romance and relationship between college quarterback Luke Finnegan, and graphic design student Miley St. Claire. Luke Finnegan is failing marketing and is desperate in the face of losing his starting position with team, and finds himself asking graphic design student Miley St. Claire for help but Miley is his brother’s girlfriend’s best friend, and in this Luke doesn’t want to cross the line where he doesn’t belong. Our heroine will surprise Luke Finnegan when she suggests a relationship outside of school, a surprise that involves a friends with benefits relationship as our heroine does not believe in love or happily ever after. What ensues is the building friendship, relationship and love between Miley and Luke, and the potential fall-out as Miley’s issues of trust threaten any future happiness for our story line couple. Miley St. Claire doesn’t do relationships having witnessed the volatile and unfaithful marriage of her parents but something about Luke has our heroine reconsidering her stand on relationships, a relationship that is about to prove that love is temporary, and trust must be earned. Luke Finnegan knows betrayal first hand but that doesn’t stop him from hoping for his own happily ever after. Miley St. Claire is a means to an end but falling in love is one of the best side-benefits to needing a college tutor. The relationship between Miley and Luke begins as a student-tutor relationship wherein Luke is immediately attracted to his our story line heroine but Miley lets Luke know that she has no desire to fall in love but a friends with benefits relationship is all she is able to handle. As their relationship begins to develop, Luke’s past is determined to destroy any hope for a happily ever after. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text. The secondary and supporting characters include Luke’s brother Baker and his girlfriend Sky (Rebellious and Reckless 1), and their father Morris Finnegan; Miley’s roommate Kaylee; Luke’s friend and fellow football player Milo; and mean girl/ sorority sisters Veronica and Nadalee. CHAOS AND LOVE is a story of family, relationships, betrayal and love; a story of vengeance, jealousy, retribution and heart break. The premise is engaging and emotional; the romance is seductive; the characters are dynamic, energetic and charismatic but I struggled with the YA (young adult) feel to the story line premise including the vindictive mean girls, and immature and over emotional parental units.

Years ago, when self-publishing first became a thing, I devoured a LOT of new to me authors in a short period of time. Some I fell in love with their writing, some I did not. Michelle A. And she never left my automatic 1-click author list, even when I wondered if she’d ever publish again. Thank my lucky stars, she’s recently hit the ground running with Rebellious and Reckless, and now, she has the second book in her all-new Campus HotShots series, Chaos and Love. Both books are written as standalone titles, but I’d be a poor fan if I didn’t highly recommend reading them both in order. Y’all, I loved Baker, so don’t take this the wrong way, but I absolutely loved Luke just as much, if not more. And I’m beyond thrilled with his HEA. Most of this author’s heroes are more like anti-heroes, but Luke…he’s one of the good ones. He’s not squeaky clean in the sex department; he’s a college athlete, after all. But he’s not a manwhwore. He’s actually a relationship kind of guy. He’s handsome, hardworking, and as loyal as they come. Miley, however, is not a relationship kind of girl. Her home life growing up made her more than wary of men and their trustworthiness. I was totally Team Luke reading this story and kind of wanted to smack Miley (more than once) to make her wake up and smell the coffee where the deception was concerned. Despite wanting to smack her (and maybe I growled a few curse words at my iPad, too), I loved their story. And oh, I can’t wait for Milo’s story! Chaos and Love was a very fitting title for this love story. A lot is going on in the background of the plot. I’m sure I missed some finer points along the way because I just couldn’t read Luke and Miley’s story fast enough. And this one is chock full of family drama all around. It’s emotional. It’s angsty. It’s frustrating. But all in all, it’s a beautiful love story about never giving up on the one you love, even against seemingly insurmountable obstacles. I’ll definitely reread this one over and over. NICUnurse’s Rating: I give Chaos and Love by Michelle A. Valentine 5 out of 5 stars!

I received a copy of this book from the author for an honest review. So excited it’s Luke and Miley’s time. I loved Baker’s story but felt so bad for Luke he needs his HEA. You do not have to read Baker’s book to enjoy Luke’s but it does have some back ground that’s nice to see first. I was worried Luke would be the scorned football player but not at cell. He is great; Luke has a wonderful heart. He is more worried about those around him than most college aged guys. Luke is trying to piece back his family. After his mom passed his dad lost his mind and Luke lost not only his mom but his brother walked way from him and his dad. Miley knows what she does and does not want. The wants to have from no strings attached. She saw firsthand what can happen to a family when one decides they no longer love the other. Miley is not willing to put her heart out there to get stomped on. Miley and Luke are perfect for one another. But Miley has so many walls up and not willing to fall in love with anyone. Luke is determined to make this work and he feels he has enough love for both of them to wait until she realizes she is also in love with him. Only problem is there are people on the outside gunning to make sure they are not together then add Miley’s distrust issue and this could spell disaster for these two. Luke and Miley had so much chemistry. I felt so bad for Luke with all his efforts of wooing Miley and her rejection. There were twist and turns not all bad in this one that made a great book. Let’s talk Milo I’m so intrigued and want to know his story because I’m telling you there has got to be a great one there. Really who is Milo and what makes him tick other than wanting a three some. A few of my favorites: “That’s pretty bold to assume there will be a point in time when I’m comfortable when being called your girlfriend.” “I’m confident,” I correct. “You like me and one once you see I’ll treat you right, you’ll fall in love with me and this whole I’m refusing to be your girlfriend thing will be a distant memory.” “Anyone with eyes is going to know why I was first drawn to you, Miley. Your personality has been a complete bonus, which only makes me like you even more.”

I absolutely loved Luke and Miley together. Things were fun, they were hilarious and hot together! The chemistry between them was off the charts.. and when our boy Luke finally convinced our girl to try the whole relationship thing.. things were great.. till they weren't.. and I just knew the devil was going to rear its ugly little spineless Kappa Kappa head.. Will Luke be able to convince Miley once again.. that pictures or video in this since are not all what it looks like? Will she be able to forgive him.. is there anything he needs forgiving for? Seriously this book was phenomenal and I HIGHLY recommend it to everyone.. Michelle A. Valentine has been once of my all time favorite authors since she brought us Sky's Momma and Daddy.. and seriously I can not wait to get my hands on Milo and Jamie... Good lord I cant wait..

He is all kinds of sexy, has an adorable sense of humor, and could have any girl at Columbus University. The fact that Miley is wicked talented and seemingly wants the same kind of friends with benefits that Luke does, seals the deal between them. As neither can keep their hands off the other, things truly get interesting when feelings become tangled up in their hearts and surprise one another in a big way! Not having read the first book in the series (but I will be doing that immediately!), it was still easy as can be to settle in with these characters and the extended crew of friends who both support them and give them a pep talk or two when needed. Miley's hesitance at being anything but eff buddies only had Luke more desperate to find a way to show her that what they had was perfect and meant to be. And I really enjoyed his determination to get through to her no matter the consequence. He was utterly charming and swoony. There is great humor, extremely sexy times, and a few tougher moments as Luke and Miley fall harder by the day for one another. But it's the true love they have found that drives this story and kept me hoping all would turn out the way it should. Valentine still knows how to make me smile with well-written characters and the kind of romance that is addictive. I look forward to catching up with Baker's story and then waiting (im)patiently for Milo's journey next, one that could prove to be the most powerful book of them all. 4 huge stars!

Not only do we get Luke and Miley’s story, but there’s a healing of a family that’s been ripped apart by unconscionable actions that I’m not sure will ever be righted. There’s a few ups and downs in this book and I loved how Luke and Miley come together. It’s a very rough road for them because they really are looking for different things and while they’re able to agree on a couple of things the more time they’re together feelings begin to change, but can Miley be strong enough to take the leap? Luke is headed for great things and he wants a love like his parents had. But that may not be possible because one of the people he loves most is hurting which in turn hurts him and their actions truly affect how Luke goes about his day… even if he’s not showing it to the outside world. Luke and Miley are truly perfect for each other and I love the story Ms. Valentine has written. I fell in love with how Luke and Miley love each other through the ups, downs, happiness and sadness. They truly are meant for each other and because of their love, other parts of their lives have been clarified which in some instances brings joy and healing and in others makes it okay to accept what they’ve not wanted to admit, but with the love surrounding them it becomes exactly what they need to be happy.

Her father’s extramarital affairs and her parent’s so-called marriage is something she wants no part of for herself. She has lost all trust in men. In her mind, no matter how good it is in the beginning, eventually men will cheat, and her heart will be broken. Luke is an amazing guy. You cannot help but fall for him. My heart breaks for him. He wants more with Miley and is willing to go slow as to not scare her because he knows about her family and her parents and he understands why she is so reluctant to relationships. But he will do anything to show Miley that not all men are like her father, especially him. But Miley refuses to accept his feelings and chooses to ignore her growing feelings for him. It is obvious to everyone that Luke and Miley are perfect for one another. Well, except Veronica and her Kappa Kappa sisters. Will Miley finally allow love in her heart and admit to her feelings and accept Luke’s affections or will she keep her feeling inside and miss out on a happily ever after with the perfect guy for her.

Her family dynamics have tainted her ability to trust so she only wants casual hookups. When Luke and Miley realize they both want the same thing, they agree to a secret, 'no strings', friends with benefits arrangement. They have explosive chemistry right from the start, but it is the fun times and great conversations in between that makes Luke want more. But Miley is scared to put her heart on the line, so Luke will have the fight of his life to prove she can trust him and they are meant for each other. I really liked Luke and Miley and their group of friends, they all felt honest, and genuine. I feel that the decisions they made were believable even if I didn't agree with some of them. I really loved the ending and epilogue which totally made me swoon. This was a fun, engaging, and steamy romance with lots of heart!

Luke has had enough of women who don't want him but date him long enough to get his hopes up. He has decided the only type of relationship he wants now is a no strings attached one. When he listens to Miley at one of the frat parties he wonders if she can be the woman to have this type of relationship with. Miley doesn't do relationships and she isn't open to just telling anyone why. There is one thing she would like to do with a man like Luke and that is climb him like a tree and play in it for awhile. Luke and Miley really seem to be on the same page until it seems like real feelings are getting involved. Is this the beginning of the end for them or the beginning of a HEA for the them? This is another amazing hit out of the park from this author. This series has characters that emotionally draw you in and won't let go. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Ahhhh, Luke! I am so happy to get his book. I felt bad for him in the last book because he seemed like a good guy and he proves it even more in this one. When he falls hard, he falls with his entire heart. I loved Miley in the last book. She is quite a character and says what she thinks, but she has some thick walls around her heart. She wants and loves sex, but without committments. Thinking she has the perfect set-up with Luke, she proves herself wrong. Emotions get involved and she's scared. S Ahhhh, Luke! It's not easy at all! There are ups and downs and Miley pushes while Luke pulls. He's such a sweetheart and I couldn't help but fall for him. He breaks down those walls and she slowly opens her heart to him. I love that he and Baker were able to get closer. They needed that so much after having lost their mom. His ex doesn't make it easy for them, but as they say 'love conquers all.' Miley and Luke have such hot chemistry that you can't help but pull for them. I'm so glad to get more books from Michelle and I hope Milo is next!

Luke Finnegan may be lucky on the field, but it seemed like his luck ran out off-field. He was still recovering from the aftershock of Sky, the one that got away, and ran into the arms of his brother. Deciding to move forward, he vowed to put it all behind him, and concentrate on the game and his school work. But when his teacher informed him about his not so great grades, he knew he had to get help and fast. He needed a tutor. Miley does not do relationships, ever. When a job came up for tutoring Luke Finnegan, she knew she was in trouble. The attraction and the arrangement were mutual until it became complicated. Add in some friends, some family and of course let's not forget the mean girls, and you have a story full of drama. The story was cute. I loved Luke and his softer side. I liked Miley but did not love her. But this was a sexy story with plenty of drama to keep you tapping the pages. Let's not forget the secondary characters that kept us entertained. Anyone yell, Milo?

Can I just say how happy I am to be past my college days. I don't miss the drama, but I sure did enjoy reading about someone else's college drama. Chaos and Love is packed with a variety of drama. It isn't all about college days. There is a lot of family dynamics that began in Rebellious and Reckless for Luke. Miley's family drama has been going on for years. It has influenced her more than she will admit. She is determined to protect herself always. Luke is a quarterback with dreams of the NFL. Being a jock makes him a chick magnet, and not with always with attractive results. Did I mention the book has lots of drama??? Luke has dreams that could be thwarted if he doesn't get one of his grades up. He turns to Miley for tutoring. He has ulterior motives. He doesn't just want a better grade. He wants Miley. Little does he know that the grade will be easier to obtain. Miley has no interest in a relationship. Miley is what most guys would want, one and done. Luke wants more. He wants it all. He will have to break down Miley's walls. He will have to prove himself over and over again. His obstacles are many. Chaos and Love was a joy to read. The author did a great balance of good and evil. It is always a fun read when I am given characters to dislike. Being a sidelines cheerleader, hoping that love will conquer all, is what made this book such a joy. Thank you Michelle Valentine for writing a book that I was able to get emotionally involved with and come out with a happy heart.

I graciously received an ARC copy of this book. Thank you Michelle! I loved Luke in book 1, Reckless and Rebellious (Baker’s book), so I couldn’t wait to read his story. After reading book 2, I REALLY love Luke now. Gah! He’s the perfect kind of man. He can be a little cocky and demanding but he’s also very sweet & will do anything for the ones he loves. He’s fed up with relationships and would very much just like to have fun. In comes Miley all cute and sexy, wanting nothing to do with relation I graciously received an ARC copy of this book. She thinks Luke would be a lot of fun to “play” with, so they agree to try the friends with benefits thing. They both agree that no feelings are to be involved and if/when they start to happen, they need to end things because she was adamant about never being in a relationship. I loved Luke and Miley together. They were fun, adventurous, hilarious and hot! I felt the chemistry between them and was sad that neither wanted a relationship. They got to know each other, drama happened and things got crazy. I loved it and couldn’t wait to see what happened in the end. This is a standalone in a series, but I recommend reading them in order because you’re introduced to all the characters in book 1.

She is a product of her past and family and she has seen first hand that love, committment and fidelity are very hard to find. When Luke finds himself in dire straits and in in fear of failing a class he turns to Miley as his tutor. I loved this couple and their sassy, sexy witty banter. Oh yes Miley finds Luke attractive but she will not do relationships but when be suggests friends with benefits she may have to think this over! What happens when the player on the field begins to wiggle his way into the cockles of this non committment gals heart. Luke can be very persuasive when he sees something he wants and Miley just may be going down with this heartbreaker! ~~Michele McMullen ~~

*4,5 stars* I love sports romance and love the books by this author so perfect combination for me :-) I really enjoyed the chemistry between Luke and Miley but also the emotional heartwarming moments in the story. I'm so looking forward to the next book in this series! Luke is one of the most popular football stars of the moment but also doesn't have to fight for women's attention as he's a good looking guy but when he needs a tutor for one of his classes, he doesn't know where to start. With them now working closely side by side, it's hard to deny their attraction and Luke makes her a proposition she can't refuse. But Miley has her walls up high and it'll take a lot for her to trust his actions. When they finally seem to get closer, something happens that makes her question it all. Will Luke find a way to break down her walls?... And will their relationship work out in the end?...

I absolutely love everything Michelle Valentine writes. Choas and Love is the second book in this series and tells the story of Luke and Miley. This book is a complete standalone but I do recommend reading the first book as well to get a better understanding of the characters. Luke is the quarterback of his football team and is failing one of his classes. If he doesn't get his grade up be won't be able to play so he needs to find a tutor. His friend Sky suggests asking her best friend Miley. Mile I absolutely love everything Michelle Valentine writes. His friend Sky suggests asking her best friend Miley. Miley thinks Luke is super hot so she agrees to tutor him with hopes that she can study his body as well. Miley doesn't believe in lasting relationships because of her parents so she only wants to sleep with Luke. The more time they spend together the harder it gets for Luke to just be her friend. Will these two be able to let go of the past and give a relationship a try? I loved the connection between Luke and Miley. The secondary characters added lots of depth to the storyline. I can't wait for Milo's book which is next!!

Michelle A. Valentine has written a sexy sweet college romance that anyone would love to experience. A little drama is a given with any college romance book but it’s the connection and the emotional pull that leaves you with those fuzzy feelings in your tummy. I think what I loved the most was that Luke and Miley were both their own person and not influenced by others that you often read about in this type of book. It’s an emotional journey filled with love and a little angst, but gives you that tingling in your toes and feel good feeling all over at the end. A beautiful HEA with all the feels.

Luke is not your typical jock, he's got a heart and he's not afraid to lay it all out on the line. Miley has never wanted a relationship, after growing up watching her dad cheat on her mom she's damaged. Can't wait to see Milo fall. You also get to catch up with a few old favorites since Ms. Valentine brings them into the mix.

I recieved an ARC for my honest review.

Luke was such a stand-up guy in this. Miley, however, did get on my nerves throughout. I am not a fan of having someone else pay for mistakes made by others in your life. She seemed to be a toddler in her emotional journey through life. Yes - her father did her mother and their family wrong. However, that does not mean that every guy on the planet is going to cheat. On top of that, Luke was above board in both his feelings and actions. I also didn't like how quick Miley was to believe other peop Luke was such a stand-up guy in this.
