A STORY SEED HAS BEEN PLANTED IN YOUR MIND Reviewed in the United States on June 29, 2017 I read this book via a KINDLE Unlimited download. As an aficionado and author of flash fictions, I’ve written an anthology of 100 Flash Fictions, where most of the stories only have five sentences, I can truly appreciate the efforts Mr. Pandza in compiling this collection. This IS NOT the kind of book you can read by racing through it by any means. This IS NOT the kind of book you can read by racing through it by any means. The best way to appreciate reading this author’s endeavor is to sit in a comfortable, quiet place. Close your eyes, clear your mind; with your mind clear, you slowly read each of the 242 items contained in this collection one by one. You stop and contemplate what you’ve just read as you try to visualize it. By doing this you’ll first get a basic image of what you’ve read, and as you continue to dwell on this image you should find your imagination creating an entire story which seems to keep on growing until you decide to move on to the next item. For allowing me and anyone who reads this book, the opportunity to use our imagination to create complete stories in our minds, I’ve given Mr. Pandza 5 STARS.

Another Spookily Fun Collection I loved the previous collection so when I saw a second one available I had to grab it. I like how the stories are split into two chapters, one which is ‘Supernatural’ and the other which are set more in the ‘real world’: though still gruesomely horrific. Many made me ‘squick’ at the thought. Do not need to have read the first collection but I’d recommend it if you enjoy this one, or like super short stories. Love these!! I hope some of them become more than just 2 sentences. I am continuously amazed by how a story can be told (or at least implied) in just two sentences. Here is my riff on it: After weeks of being held captive in the humid, grimy basement, Kate was finally allowed a shower. While ignoring the ants at her feet, imagine her surprise when all that came out of the shower head was a sticky, watery syrup mixture.

I won a free Kindle copy of this in a Goodreads Giveaway. I really liked this book! I love horror/scary stories, and these 2 sentence ones were pretty good! I don’t want to leave any spoilers by sharing them, but if you’re a fan of the weird, creepy, scary, or gory, then this book is for you! I’ll definitely need to read his first book at some point!

Short, interesting snippets. Some were better than others, some were much more disturbing.

Received for free from Goodreads in exchange for an honest review. DNF at 122 out of 227 pages. I just can’t. Too horrific for me. Completely recommend for fans of horror, intense horror. The flash fictions are well written but I can’t stomach the content. I used this for my @littleinklingsdesign #afbreadingchallenge2021 for an ebook. 1 star.

This book is so good, albeit really creepy sometimes. There's a bit of a Silence of the Lambs aura in a few of the stories; some are Stephen King-esque; others are scary in their own unique ways. What I really like about it is that, although (believe it or not) the stories are complete in two sentences, I could add my own details to the beginning or end and kind of make it my own.
