This is a big set up issue to find out what is happening in the world of crossover. While not as exciting as last issue they set up some pretty big reveals and saying the payoffs will be worth it. On top of that the ending is messed up and solid art and I'm still into it. This is a big set up issue to find out what is happening in the world of crossover. The more I read, the more I’m digging this story. We get a couple of new plot threads here that I’m very interested in seeing play out.

The first page actually had me laughing out loud. Not a bad second issue with a solid reveal to keep us interested and bring us back for more

Massive improvement over issue 1. Which isn't really anyone's fault- there's usually just so much Introduction and exposition and making the ground rules Yada Yada Yada. I also think it's poignant to mention that I'm not really a big fan of these "amalgamation of properties" tales. Last Action Hero, Who Framed Roger Rabbit and Ready Player One are pretty fun on their own, but, at least for me they've never had much staying power in my imagination. Last Action Hero, Who Framed Roger Rabbit and Ready Player One are pretty fun on their own, but, at least for me they've never had much staying power in my imagination. It feels like so much of other things that it's core identity never really forms a daring enough impact to be remembered in my mind anymore than a novelty. A fun little side bit of entertainment. This one at least seems like it could have some staying power. On one hand I find the religious element heavy handed- on another level i think i should be grateful we're getting any sort of commentary on religion at all. Especially in a story that's taunting some pretty cool characters on the way. After all this one teases Batman, Spawn and either a Gundum or Autobot. I was surprised to see myself sitting up in my seat on a few occasions. That's always a good sign when something happens and you're like "hang on this is actually good i should adjust my posture out of respect." I like the natural flow of conversion and humanity. There's an argument that takes place in here that felt very believable. Weird thing to point out but it managed to suck me into this bizzare world a little more. I think I could get into this. The reveals alone are probably worth experiencing in real time.

Really good follow-up. The art is still my fave part. We learn more about the event. Definitely intrigued for more

Yes! This series is going to be amazing. And damn, I can't believe Cates actually got to put the real characters in this. There's a lot of cameos. Yes! This series is going to be amazing. And damn, I can't believe Cates actually got to put the real characters in this. There's a lot of cameos.
