Two great little stories with Hellboy, the first - and longest - ‘Her Fatal Hour’ has him intervening in a curse while The Sending is a brief tale that seems like something W.H Hodgson would have written in his day. The artwork by Tiernon Trevallion is excellent and is perfectly suited to Hellboy and the BPRD. Trevallion’s artwork has a running concurrently in 2000 AD for the Fiends of the Eastern Front: Constanta storyline. Also worth checking out

Much like Hellboy and the B.P.R.D. - The Seven Wives Club, one imagines this slim volume will be gathered in a later collection of stories. And what a volume it will be, thanks to great stuff like Her Fatal Hour and The Sending. And Tiernan Trevallion's art is so delightful, you hope to see much, much mor Much like Hellboy and the B.P.R.D. - The Seven Wives Club, one imagines this slim volume will be gathered in a later collection of stories. The gypsy woman from The Beast of Vargu returns for Her Fatal Hour. The Sending introduces a new creature from Icelandic lore. Both good.
