Glad I pushed past issue 2, because now things are actually coming together (even as they split apart). The conflicts, instead of just being a series of fights, are grounded in truth and have some sort of deeper cause. I would have preferred if issue 2 had a little of this issue in it, but I think for folks reading the first several issues at once in trade, it’s not going to be a concern at all. Will continue with these messy 20-somethings.

I came across this comic randomly today and I am glad I did. I met the colorist of the comic as well and it made my day. The story itself centers around mental health and how emotions affect life in a broad sense. I love the story line itself and the art style fits the tone. I cannot wait to catch up on the other volumes.

Ifl this book. Millennials, (realistic, queer) drama, music, drugs, being irresponsible, true friends. I especially love Tim, with his “big bear and Mexi-bear over there” and “he can’t tell if you’re being a good hoe or a bad hoe” and “get your act together, little boy.”
