With the contents divided into two main sections under love and hope, this poetry collection is quite genuine in its expressions and composition. The lines are more towards convincing someone to love without fear and doubt. It celebrates love and the magic it possibly has. However, I would have loved the collection more if the writing didn't seem too repetitive and too short. I should have guessed from the "how do I fix you" that this was going to have an undercurrent of patriarchy I wouldn't like. An early poem, "the proposal," cemented it -- do not say me a no, please don’t say a no. what if, i am your last chance. what if, i am your last hope. what if, i am your last love. what if, i am your last breath. Oof. "No one's going to love you like I do." It is one of those sentiments that puts me off right away, having known one too many "nice guy" types. “don’t love me, i’m an I should have guessed from the "how do I fix you" that this was going to have an undercurrent of patriarchy I wouldn't like. Oof. "No one's going to love you like I do." It is one of those sentiments that puts me off right away, having known one too many "nice guy" types. “don’t love me, i’m an impossible thing. i may never love you back.” she said. “like magic, anything is possible.” i smiled. This is so similar to exchanges I had in a friendship that went horribly south - exactly the way you would expect - that it made me twitch. “you don’t understand me. you never will.” “maybe i don’t. but i’m trying to.” “listen, i don’t need you or your pep talks. nothing you say can inspire me.” “i’m not here to inspire you.” “then?” “i’m here to fix you.” NOPE. You can't fix another person, and trying is a surefire way to dehumanize them and put them on a pedestal. I don't know why this is making me so angry. you’re the only universe i trust, the only magic i believe, the only reason i exist. This is destructive to believe and even more destructive to say. I really wanted to like this book; it's a self-published book of poetry with a beautiful cover and a theme that appealed to me. But I kept finding echoes of the things guys have said to me to try to control me, and even if that's not the author's intention, it made me angry.

3.5/5 "Love comes, love leaves but why does it pain? Pain is the price we all pay for love. Sometimes for not loving enough and sometimes for loving too much" This poetry is what the title says. It's about love that goes and comes unexpectedly. It's about hope in life, relationships, and yourself. And of course, it's about magic in everything we do, see and believe. 3.5/5 "Love comes, love leaves but why does it pain? Pain is the price we all pay for love. four stars for truly sweet use of the “moon and stars melancholy” that didn’t make me cringe sometimes love is as simple as watching the moon with you and sometimes it’s as difficult as counting all the stars.

'I inhaled pain and exhaled poetry.' These lines at the very outset presents the theme of this beautiful poetical work. As the title suggests,  the work conver with its readers on the various aspects and shades of love, hope and the magical moments through poetry. Those who have read Ashish Bagrecha's debut work or came across his recitation videos know how beautifully he weaves stories through his poetry, that gives the readers a hope for the future , a dream to chase, a support to lean on and motivates them to move forward in life with more enthusiasm and power. What makes his poetry so distinct from others is the way he presents the deepest of emotions in the most simplistic but powerful manner possible, which leaves its deep impact on the readers and force them to ponder over the words. He is an excellent wordsmith and knows how to touch the right chords of one's heart with the suitable words. The collection begins with the various shades of love: the excitement of its arrival and the pain it brings when lost in oblivion. But it marks the beginning of a new era and paves the way for hope to arrive in one's life and with it comes the magic that changes us completely. I have personally found hope for a new beginning  with this profound work. The conversational tone of some of the poems makes this collection very impactful and it feels like as if the book is a living being, talking to you and guiding you through the difficult paths of your life. I have truly enjoyed going through all the poems. They are truly amazing and I would highly recommend this book to everyone. The most beautiful aspect of poetry is that it speaks differently to different people and I believe each one of the readers will discover something new and personal lessons from this poetry collection.  Happy Reading

I love the poems so much. Few were beyond the words but few of them feels like no need to be kept in this book. I would appreciate if Author would club 2 or 3 poetries together to save the no. Pages. I realli like the poetries by Ashish Bagrecha and this book did justice but few things were out of context. The very first poetry (THE SEARCH) touched me so much that i feel that magic do happen.

Poetries in this book carry a deep meaning and the book has been beautifully categorised. But I feel it has kind of failed to meet the expectations that it promised because it talks less about curing depression as advertised and is inclined more on the analogies of sun, moon etc in its poems. The previous book by AB was much better. Anyway KUDOS!

The book talks about caring profoundly, loving intensely, getting hurt etc. It's about slipping into the shadows and seeking the sun. It's about letting the love find you, trusting the universe, and believing in the goodness and magic that we hold inside ourselves. It not only inspires you, but cures you as well. ✦ The book is divided into three parts and six chapters. It takes you on the course of ocean of love and devotion, the blissful ranges of association, the straths of heartbreak and the beam of sunshine that brings hope and magic. The words of the poet sink in so deeply and the magic of his poetry reaches you deep inside your heart, leaving you with high spirits and jouissance, as it did for me. I truly loved this book. I ended the year 2020 with a book of poetry and started my 2021 with poetry. It was honestly a beautiful experience. I hope Love, Hope and Magic continues to grow deep inside our hearts, invariably enriching lives as we inhale pain and exhale poetry. ✦ “love comes, leaves and pains, but magic happens and stays, and all we need is a little hope in between.” ♡♡♡

Okay so well this is my last book of this year & it's good to read something magical & hopeful about love. The book is healing at some point & will give u some new perspectives.. about feeling love. Its not exactly written in a poetry format but I liked some lines from it.. “pain is the price we all pay for love. sometimes for not loving enough and sometimes for loving too much.” I really felt this part. I think I shouldn’t judge any poetries since they are from ones feeling. For me, when I read this book, I just let myself feel every word he wrote. That made me enjoy the book. In the first parts of the book, it made my feeling got dark. But in the end, my feeling was filled with hopeful and beautiful words. Like reading other poetry, you shouldn’t think about any reasons. If you are a rational person and can’t throw away your logic for a while, I don’t recommend you to read this book.

The book is divided into 3 main sections which are - Love, Hope and Magic. All the poems are beautifully written. I really loved the Magic part of the book as it has the poems which I can relate the most to. However, I felt that the author was a bit repetitive with the concept. Overall it's a beautiful book containing some beautiful poems.🖤 The book is divided into 3 main sections which are - Love, Hope and Magic. All the poems are beautifully written.
