Good but not as great as it could have been I enjoyed the book but I think it would have been much better with a few changes. Pros 1. Most of the main characters were very interesting 2. The plot had a few twists and turns as well as a bit of suspense 3. It doesn't have any sections that felt like they were a struggle to get through Cons 1. I found 45 typos 2. The celestials' individual personalities weren't as well developed as I expect in a RH 3. The group dynamic between Raven and her harem did Good but not as great as it could have been I enjoyed the book but I think it would have been much better with a few changes. Pros 1. The group dynamic between Raven and her harem didn’t coalesce enough for them to all work well together until the last few chapters 4. The book ended on a very minor cliffhanger Observations 1. The cover is absolutely beautiful but doesn't represent Raven at all. Raven's black hair and black wings were mentioned so frequently throughout the book that it was apparent that they were not only her major physical characteristics but they differentiated her from all of the other characters 2. I missed the reason for the book's name since Morning Star is another name for Lucifer I do recommend this book. Even with its issues I liked it enough to only deduct one star. I'm glad that I read it but I don't see myself reading it again. I plan to try another book by this author to see how it compares to this one.

Loved it Love a good stand alone. Could have used a bit more length to really flesh out the relationships but overall I was very impressed! RH, multiple POVs, not a lot of steam but really good plot

This was my first foray into reverse harem and I didn't hate it?? Raven was a very strong character and I thought the story was really interesting. I also liked all of the love interest (EXCEPT FOR ORION) and I like how they each brought a different element to the relationship. Laz was my favorite by far and I would have loved to read more about him and Raven. That's the thing I'm seeing that could be an issue with RH. Laz was my favorite by far and I would have loved to read more about him and Raven. That's the thing I'm seeing that could be an issue with RH. There is going to be a guy or two that I like more and in this instance it was Lazarus and Ciro. Noah was kinda sorta bland and Orion was giving me NYPD cop energy. Very much "oh I'm am asshole because I lost my soulmate you better not mention it because I'm using it as a way to unecessarily kill harmless demons." Hard pass. Despite all of that, I was really loving the story up until the 80% mark. The writing falls apart and I didn't enjoy the way the actions scenes were written. I felt the author was trying to build suspense but it came across bad choppy. Before the 80% mark, the writing wasn't bad but it wasn't amazing either. The author recycled their adjectives and verbs so much!! If I read another variation on "whoosh" I would have poked my eyeballs out. Some sentences were super clunky and I found myself rewriting them in my head to make them flow better. I WILL say that the sex in this book is preettty good. Raven was confident and unapologetic which I loved. It isn't super porn-y or male gaze-y and I appreciated that. This book will not be for everyone because it is VERY sacrilegious and blasphemous if you are a person that practices certain faiths. I, for one, found it refreshing. I am quite intrigued by this genre and didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did!

Happy for now ending There was a lot more too this than I was expecting. It was darker than the blurb led me to believe but I did enjoy it. I was sucked into this messed up world were celestials are the true bad guys. Raven is a fantastic main character. I found myself rooting for her from the very first chapter. The guys have 4,000+ years of trauma under their belts and each one handles it in their own way. I hated Orion at first but he turned that around by the end. Speaking of the ending, I'm not even sure what to say there. I'm hoping that the author writes a follow up because I feel like Raven has so much more story to tell. It was definitely more of a happy for now ending but it was good. Bottom line, this was a much deeper and slightly darker read than I was expecting but I really enjoyed it and I'll definitely read more from this author.

Sigh. In the end I was mildly amused enough with the characters I trudged through to the disappointing finish. At first this was good, enjoyable enough I’d put up with the almost instalove when I generally prefer slow burn...but then 80% hit and the story just went pear shaped. The last 20% was just a rushed inconsistent mess that was hard to believe, after knowing her for a month and a half, they’d all instantly go against EVERYTHING they’d believed and been for thousands of years? Need a littl Sigh. In the end I was mildly amused enough with the characters I trudged through to the disappointing finish. Need a little more build up and plot for that. Honestly it should have just been a second book to give all the conflict after building the harem time to actually develop believably. (And if you’re looking for a GOOD angels aren’t the good guys Reverse Harem, try Auryn Hadley’s The Demon’s Muse series instead of this.)

The book is a solid read with nice beats that engage. It is a fast read despite the length. First detractor was editing; Raya could engage a solid proofreader. I read the kindle version and again, Raya needs to engage a solid formatter as there are a number of blank spaces and other spacing issues that make it less than a smooth read. When I finished, the back matter was intense and not knowing what the subsequent book was, I got tired of all the hype for a bunch of disconnected books, shut it dow The book is a solid read with nice beats that engage. Enjoyable. Liked how the heroine is aware of her powers even when she doesn’t know who she is. It’s nice that she’s not clueless. Also liked Lazarus, though I felt he didn’t get enough time. Know who got too much time? Freaking Orion. I’d never date a guy who had a history of trying to KILL ME. But you do you girl. This is a standalone, right? Wish it was a series and we could see the creator go down!

Wow nicely done ✔ This was a great book. I enjoyed the plot and characters. Super original. The angst was off the chart. I teared up a time or two. This is a darker themed read. I recommend 👌

This could have been SO MUCH MORE! I enjoyed the storyline. Different take on the usuals. Raven is a great main character. I would have loved more. More time could have been spent on nearly every aspect of the story and each of the characters.

Good. This was a pretty good story but I have a question... is it a standalone or a series because I feel like it isn’t complete 🤔🧐🤷🏻‍♀️

. Twisty with some serious drama and all the feels. I loved the visuals even if architecture and the history got a little repetitive and long winded.

This was an amazing read! A story where the angels aren’t always the good guys and the FMC is a badass! Had to grab my tissues a couple times. This is a must read!

Would recommend It's hard to pull off a story involving the devil/his kid. A lot of times they come off cheesy af. This one pulled it off. Loved the story. Better Than I Expected this was a pretty good book. The author is definitely a storyteller. Most Reverse Harem books are non-stop sex with a mediocre storyline, but this went way beyond that. I'm definitely going to continue with this series... If there is one. Better Than I Expected this was a pretty good book. The author is definitely a storyteller.
