   Lauren is a doctor in Fantasy Pier. She came here after losing her job because of her sister. Now her sister is here after just showing up. Dean is a Texas Ranger and works with Dax. They are in Fantasy Pier trying to find a fugitive. Dean and Lauren met at the bar and spent the night together. He is at the hospital to question a suspect and she won't let him. He is learning the hard way how things work in Fantasy Pier and he isn't happy. Lauren is finding out why her sister showed up and is try Lauren is a doctor in Fantasy Pier.    This books starts with a bar hook-up between a Texas Ranger and a doctor. Dean and Lauren didn’t think they would see each other the next day and have Lauren drawn into an active case of Dean’s. Since things move so quickly, there is no depth to the characters. There is sex and a some action, but not much else. This book didn’t grab my attention enough to continue the series.

   Good read Lauren met Dean in a meeting and they went out together and went to his hotel where they shared a hot sexy night. The next day Dean has to arrest her sister. Then the two of them try to figure out how her sister got into so much trouble. They manage to do that and capture the crook too.
