I can legitimately imagine young readers laughing out loud while reading this. I listened to the audiobook and the voices were FABULOUS; I found myself chuckling quite often. What a great option for a long drive with kids!

Scaredy Cat I have to say for a kids book wow! It starts off cute, two little cats at a rescue shelter, they end up adopted by the same family. Then they meet the neighborhood scaredy cat aka bully! He runs the street. When the two new cats don’t fall in line things start to happen in their home. The ending of the story is what concerns me for children...STOP HERE IF YOU DON’T WANT TO READ SPOILERS! So at the end the cats figure out scaredy cat is a ghost! Who wants to teach children ghost exist? Scaredy Cat I have to say for a kids book wow! It starts off cute, two little cats at a rescue shelter, they end up adopted by the same family. He wrecks the kitchen and other parts of the house several times to get them kicked out. They continue to rebel and defy him and rally other cats he has terrorized to stand against him too. Plenty of humor for cat lovers and enough action for middle grade readers. Shelter cats, Pasha and Poop, are rescued by the same family and enter life with the Wildes.
