I'd made the choice to survive Broken House. I'd chosen to live instead of taking the very obvious way out. At this point in my life, I shouldn't have been surprised that somehow living was more difficult than my previous ventures to find a way to die. I mean at least I had my men. Three kings. Three sexy, dominant shifters. What could go wrong with that? I mean really, wh I'd made the choice to survive Broken House. I'd chosen to live instead of taking the very obvious way out. I had no doubt that in true Louvre fashion the conflict would show itself at the most inconvenient time. Unfortunately, that wasn't all we had to worry about and the weight of our true situation was heavy and terrifying. There was a lot we didn't know. I mean, had Mr. Black really given up that easily? Somehow I didn't think that was the case. Better yet, why the heck does my stalker have such an odd fixation with origami animals? The most important question though? What the hell was coming for us that was so bad that a cosmic being had sought me out to warn me? Yeah, so as I said, living was f*cking complicated. 3.5. I loved the first book in the series, because the concept of what Lorcan is and what she can do was surprisingly original. I particularly loved how flawed she was and thought the way she used her drug addiction as a coping mechanism was done very well. I guess it also reminded me of my favourite series ever, which has a high functioning drug addict as the main character. The second book wasn't quite as enthralling, but I liked the positive steps Lorcan was making to get off the drugs and move 3.5. The second book wasn't quite as enthralling, but I liked the positive steps Lorcan was making to get off the drugs and move forward with her life. But I wasn't really feeling this book. I did think the way the author dealt with her PTSD was well done and I still like the concept of what Lorcan is, but I just got a bit bored. My main issues were the fact that very little axtually happened to move the plot of the series forward, as it was mostly just Lorcan hanging out with the guys (who I spent the whole book trying to remember which one was which). The first 45% is pretty much her in the house having sex with them or them having moments together. That's fine, but it got all very samey. It does also grate of my nerves how perfect Lorcan is to them all. It's sweet they all adore her, but it was just really, really over done. All 6 of the guys spend the whole time obsessing over her and the chapters with their point of views is just about her perfect she is and how much they want her. It just made what they have feel a bit shallow for me. I also really hate the trope on RH where they all have siccwrwnt cutesy nicknames for her. It does my head in. She's a grown woman and doesn't need to be called Princess or Little Lamb or whatever. It made me eye roll every time I heard it. However, I would recommend this series and I do think the concept is original and there is lots to like. It just doesn't help that I have developed a very low tolerance to certain things in this genre and this book happened to have a lot of little things that annoyed me along the way.

I love this series but then again I love anything that M. Sinclair writes. So if you have not read about Lorcan and her men, then you need to read from the beginning to understand Lorcan. She has had a rough past and now is trying to pick up and move on. This book focuses more on her and the guys. We find out more about her heritage and what she is capable of. She is learning that she is stronger than she thought. She may think that she is a bit psycho due to how she thinks of some outcomes. It I love this series but then again I love anything that M. I love how there are cameos from the other characters from her other series. It all seems to be tied together and I cannot wait to see how this all turns out.

4 Stars- Great book! I have come to find that 3rd books in lengthy series (9 books are planned for this series, for example) can be hard to judge. They often don’t live up to the first or even second books or act as fillers, but this one really knocked it out of the park for me. One of the two things that stood out the most about this book (in my opinion) was the character development. We are seeing a lot of the MMCs true personalities come out, and we learn a lot about their feelings for Lorcan. 4 Stars- Great book! We even get to see some memories of their time together when they were kids/ young teens from the guys perspective, which I absolutely love. The next thing that really resonated with me was the talk about healing. Lorcan’s inner dialogue was really meaningful, and I have to give props to the author because the way she handled the topic of PTSD, abuse, anxiety & depression was handled in a very authentic and beautiful way. I’ve definitely read books where the FMCs are ‘healed’ just by getting into a relationship and talking about it once (🙄), so as a person who has had PTSD i really appreciated this. I don’t know how she does it, but even after reading almost 30 of her books, M Sinclair is still able to surprise me and keep me guessing! I did not see Zander coming, and if i’m honest i’m not quite sure how i feel about him. Only time will tell. Overall, this was a great continuation of the series and I can’t wait to see what happens next, especially with Nova & Lorcan’s friendship. I have a feeling those girls are going to get into some shit together. 🤣

Amazing Lorcan is one of my favourite FMCs from M. Sinclair’s books. She’s powerful, strong, and has endures so much. This book is filled with some amazing moments between Lorcan and her men, and even between her and Cormac. If you read Descendant of Sin, you’ll love this book because you get to see Nova’s interaction with Lorcan from Lorcan’s POV and you get to see what her guys makes of Nova. Don’t worry though, it’s not necessary to read Descendant of Sin to understand what happens here. Along with this, you get to see Maggie and her potential new book (okay this hasn’t been confirmed but Maggie definitely needs one) and it should be interesting to see the dynamic between Maggie and her men. A new character is introduced that I’ve already fallen in love with, Zander, and I really hope that M. Sinclair has some plans for him because this man needs some love. It feels like he’s going to be instrumental in helping Lorcan and Cormac (to a degree) and I think that he’s going to be a big part in the upcoming books. Overall this book, was an amazing addition to the series and it was well worth reading. I can’t wait to see where the next instalment takes us. I highly recommend the series, but you should start with the first book (which is standard). I’d recommend reading the Descendant’s series too because they’re meant to crossover quite often, but M. Sinclair has said you don’t need to read both. Another 10/10 book.

    M. Sinclair is truly amazing she has woven this hauntingly beautiful tale of heartbreak, substance abuse and a girl who’s not only lost her way but feels she is unworthy of love. The MFC has harem of possessive men who are determined save her, even if it’s from herself! In book 3 we start seeing Lorcan beginning to heal over her past hurts and becoming stronger through out the book, it’s very well written subject that takes its time through the book and no doubt through the series as well. I feel like there’s definitely a lot more depth with all the characters and a lot of character development for Lorcan! (Which I’m loving). In Neon Drops M. Sinclair has expanded so much more on the book universe, we’re also starting to learn a lot more about Lorcan and Cormac’s magic. I’m really loving this series it’s so original and dark! You can’t help but fall in love with the eerie tale! Lorcan and her men have so much depth you can’t help but read on and become all consumed by them! Lorcan has reached out and grabbed my heart and now I can’t help but see this series through!

What a good book to continue the series. This book was focused on character development, and we did have a little bit of intermixing of another 2 FMCs from other series, and I’m really excited to see how they all come together to defeat some evil in the future. This is my favorite book in the series so far. Lorcan did a lot of growing, and we can start to see her come out and be determined to be different. We get to see more POVs from the guys, and with those, we can see their love, admiration, and devotion to everything Lorcan. It’s really sweet. We even get to see a few flashbacks of the Reid brothers and Lorcan when they were younger, just to solidify how much they all care for each other. I also love the “twist” M.Sinclair threw at us, especially the way Lorcan acts/feels about this. I can’t wait to see the outcome. I’m sure it will be so much fun to read.

Lorcan has to be one of my favorite M Sinclair characters. She is a bit broken, her past has been rough as hell. She isn't entirely sure how to heal and move on. What she is sure of? The love that she has for her guys, her friends and her family. She is always putting others needs before her own and she is super protective of those she cares about, very selfless. I just really like her as an FMC. Now her guys, I love them too! They can all be slightly psycho, some more so than others but they lo Lorcan has to be one of my favorite M Sinclair characters. I am really excited to see where this story goes and how all the storylines might possibly come together :D

WOW! Book Three. M. Sinclair is just so Talented! She's created such a complex Character in Lorcan. I love how she is writing her slowly dealing with her past abuse. It's very realistic. She is also a caretaker or codependent....everyone she loves has to come 1st. Hopefully we will she her become even more comfortable in her own skin. We also learn more about her magic which I think is cool. This book has a strong focus on the relationships and character development. We get time to take a breath WOW! Book Three. M. Third in the series starts with a chance to take a breath, quick breath from the intensity. The book further defines and continues to develop the relationship between Loracan and her men, so hot and steamy is the theme. Lorcan continues to live, fight through the PTSD and nightmares that continually plague her. The theme is dark, but where there is dark M. Sinclair the author balances with light. This is definitely a book in the middle, it has its own story but is driving towards the Big Bang; e Third in the series starts with a chance to take a breath, quick breath from the intensity. Another amazing book by M Sinclair!! I love the character development in this book. They have all come so far. In the past two books we have seen just how broken Lorcan is. In this one you can see the shift happening where she is starting to gain some confidence in herself as well as her guardians. They are all healing together. Absolutely loving the new addition of Zander and I can not wait to read more about him and Lorcan.

I love Lorcan and her men. And I love this series there isn't a part that I don't like and I can't wait to read more of their story. I also like it when Sinclair brings in other characters from her other books. Can't wait for the next one. I love Lorcan and her men.
