A Halloween anthology raising money for a worthy cause. A feast of spooky horror tales to delight any Horror fan. My favourite was Salvation of Kora by Yolanda Olson, wow i never would have expected an author to be able to tell a tale from this perspective and it make sense but that is exactly what this author did. It draws you in and keeps you in a trance until the end. I loved it, 5 stars. The Salvation of Kora: 5⭐ Dark and Demented... So, of course, I loved it. Bahaha! An original take of a scene, from an entirely different perspective, as only the depraved mind of Yolanda Olson could conjure. So filthy and deranged that the deep seeded need for a full length story has been implanted. Raw and gritty to its core.

Salvation of Kora was a awesome twisted view of a story. I don’t want to give it away but you see this story from a different view then you normally see. I loved it. As soon as you think you figured it out then you realize what’s actually happening.

Wow😱😱 All these stories were absolutely phenomenal one after the other Im so honored I was given the chance to read them, because I found so many new Arthur's to read from. The Sacrifice by Michelle Brown I absolutely loved this story what's better than a story of offering up sacrifices for Halloween. Michelle has quickly become one of my favorite arthur's that no matter what she writes you best one click it because you know it's going to be all kinds of gruesome goodness she definitely delivers it in this short story. I'd definitely love some more of this story. I know I'll be grabbing this book. Through Glass by Ally Holy Moley 😳 this book will have you looking over your shoulder as the story spins it's dark disturbing twisted tell of gruesomeness. I loved this story I'd been looking for a scary story to read and Ally came through in spades. I can't wait to read more stories from this collection. You definitely need to one click this book and enjoy. Prurience by Ed Bar This is the 1st story from a new arthur for me and I couldn't read it fast enough. Tina is such a bad bad girl who's set her sights on her step daddy he's all to willing to take the bait of this lil morsel, because he quickly finds out he might have bit off a lil more than he can handle. This was such a good story. I hope there's more of the story coming. Ghoulfriend by Bryce Calderwood I thoroughly enjoyed this story of a ghoul who finds herself a boyfriend and even manages to hold onto him😉this is a new arthur for me and one I want to read more from. Bewitched by Sian Claven This was a 1st book by a new arthur for me and she sucked me in from the start. Kiara has a issue called jealousy and if anybody has a problem with her let's just say you don't want to be on the receiving end of it. This was such a good story. I hope there's more of this story. Ritual by A. A. Davies This was the 1st book from a new arthur for me and holy smokes talk about taking a walk on the dark side. This was so good. Delirium by Steven Evans Sometimes it's best to keep your opinions to yourself as the good old boy's find out when they attempt to plan a deal about the bosses daughter you never know who might be listening. Revenge is best served cold. The boy that cried sheep by Zorha Edwards I loved this story. This was a 1st story by a new arthur and I couldn't read it fast enough. This story just sucked me in from the start about women being killed by someone or something and the police haven't a clue as to who was doing it and a old family curse. Unhinged Thoughts by JA LaFrance Kudos to this woman on writing my kind of story lol. Have you ever had those kind of day's where you take and take and never get any relief from those that mentally ambush you. This is that kind of story and so so much more. I absolutely loved it. Golah by Emery LeeAnn Sometimes it pays to have friends in spooky places who watch out for you as Willow who is in desperate need of saving from the thing who visits her every night that nobody but her can see, her parent's think it's all in her head and she has no friend's so who would believe her, but things are about to change. The Secrets We Keep by Sloane Murphy What if you had a secret stalker that was doing bad bad thing's and saying they were for you probably run for the hill's right well not Lucy she's decided to take matters into her own hand's when she does nobody believes her, so what happens next??? Yeh the arthur did that ends on a cliff sigh you'll just have to wait and find out like me. Don't leave a girl hanging please. The Salvation of Kora by Yolanda Olson This was all kinds of creepiness from the start. This is about a exorcism of a girl that went horribly wrong in all kinds of ways. This story will draw you in and you can't read the pages fast enough to read what happens next. So flippin good. Deadly Games by Willow Ridley This reminded me a lil of the Saw movies... Wanna play a Game as Emily and her friends soon find out their in a game for their lives. The Organist by Murphy Wallace What would you do if your loved one needed a heart or a kidney would you be willing to look the other way and do what you had to if there's not one available? Emma realizes her best friend Mike has just up and left with his family without telling her why and where they were going, so she tries to locate him which she does, but she might not like what she finds. This story does end on a cliffy and I'm like why Murphy why just when it's getting good uugghh. Please hurry.

As with all anthologies some of the stories were better than others but all in all it was a good collection of dark, chilling and sometimes depraved reads. Here is my brief reviews of all the stories... Prurience - Ed Bar Ooh that was good. Not my usual kind of read but one I enjoyed a lot. A good, dark and gritty read and one I would like more from as I would love to know what happens to Tina after the story ends. The Sacrifice - Michelle Brown A clever story that kind of makes you think. ‘If you co As with all anthologies some of the stories were better than others but all in all it was a good collection of dark, chilling and sometimes depraved reads. A good, dark and gritty read and one I would like more from as I would love to know what happens to Tina after the story ends. The Sacrifice - Michelle Brown A clever story that kind of makes you think. ‘If you could, would you and would it be worth it?’ Definitely an enjoyable read and again it’s one that I would like more from as I would love to know what happens next. Ghoulfriend - Bryce Calderwood I’ve read a couple of books by this author in the past and as I’ve always enjoyed them I was looking forward to reading this. I have to say it didn’t disappoint at all. Even though it was a short story Mr Calderwood managed to get as much detail in, as always, to make it come to life before my eyes. Loved every second! Bewitched - Sian Claven Ooh an absolutely cracking read. I thought I knew where this one was going but I really didn’t and what happened totally took me by surprise. Brilliant read. Ritual - A. A. Davies Another cracking story from Ms Davies. A story filled with horror but also with heart that wasn’t expected. Seriously good storytelling. Delirium - Steven Evans A new author to me and I have to say I throughly enjoyed every twisted second of this story. I hope the little tease at the end means there will be more from this story in the future. The Boy That Cried Sheep - Zorha Edwards Struggled with this one a lot. Sometimes you come across a story that isn’t for you and for me it was this one, sorry. Unhinged Thoughts - JA Lafrance I enjoyed this one a lot. Pretty sure we have all had unhinged thoughts in our lives but most of us never act on them, this story makes you wonder what would happen if... Another new to me author and another one u will be looking up ;) Galah - Emery Leeann Damn that was fantastic! Full of intrigue and horror, moments that made my skin crawl and moments that had me wanting to hug Willow. Sublime storytelling! The Secrets We Keep - Sloane Murphy Ooh, ooh, ooh! Need more of this and yay there is totally going to be more (if not already). Totally going to go look for this asap The Salvation of Kora - Yolanda Olson Exceptional as always. Exactly what I expect from Ms Olson, clever, well thought out horror that grips you from the very beginning. Deadly Games - Willow Ridley Very Saw like but I enjoyed it more than I’ve ever enjoyed the films, my imagination plays better with words than visions. Through Glass - Ally Vance Chilling read. Would have liked to have know why and what for at the end but that’s just me. The story telling was clever and intense. Brilliantly chilling. The organist - Murphy Wallace A good read, not as horrific as I thought it was going to be by the title but a good read nonetheless.

PRURIENCE by Ed Bar: Wow. Not sure what else to say about this story than, wow. One heck of a way to start off an anthology. I've never read this author before, but after this one, I'm going to. THE SACRIFICE by Michelle Brown: I love this author, and this story didn't disappoint. She knows how to tell a spooky story and give you all the right shivers. I really hope to see more from this story. GHOULFRIEND by Bryce Calderwood: Carl losing his girlfriend ripped him up emotionally. Praying and plea PRURIENCE by Ed Bar: Wow. Praying and pleading for her to come back, he didn't expect anything of it. Until she did. Ina very ghoulish way. BEWITCHED by Sian Claven: Honestly not sure what to say about this one. Kiara is for sure someone to watch, and her spirit comes even from beyond. RITUAL by A. A. Davies: Oh my Gods these are getting better and better. Such a ghostly story this one is. THE BOY WHO CRIED SHEEP by Zorha Edwards: Completely new take on were-people, and family secrets. DELIRIUM by Steven Evans: Uhhh, ok. This chick is crazy. Julie will do anything to remain at her father's company. Including murder? If she can pull it off, and ghosts of her past let her that is. UNHINGED THOUGHTS by JA LaFrance: This is a story about unhinged thoughts, and what happens when you don't fight them and let them rule. GOLAH by Emery LeeAnn: This story is part creepy, and part, oh that's so nice. Golah is NOT Casper the friendly ghost by any means, but she does care about some things, and protects those things with a fierceness. THE SECRETS WE KEEP by Sloan Murphy: I liked this story even though it was unfinished. More of a prequel than anything. I'm definitely going to be looking out for the full story to see how it all ends and how Lucy gets out of her current situation. It's not easy when you're being stalked for about ten years. THE SALVATION OF KORA by Yolanda Olson: This is a short little punch right to the head. I love this author and her stories are some of the best I've read. This little bit is right along with them. DEADLY GAMES by Willow Ridley: This is a head thumper. Escape room to the extreme and playing with a psychopath. You start as a group and see who makes it out alive. THROUGH GLASS by Ally Vance: Wow. I loved this little story. A crazy artist who loves to use real people in his work. This author knows how to write a story with a creepy edge to it. THE ORGANIST by Murphy Wallace: This was an amazing story to finish off the anthology. It shows how far people will go to save someone they love, and that maybe with a bit of warning beforehand, save a life. ********************** This anthology was such a good read. I loved all of these stories and will be looking out for more in the future for sure. If you love a good spooky story, this is the anthology for you.

Tina has had a horrible experience in her past, has overcome and is harboring a secret, a big one. The storyline is unique, the writing flowed smoothly and I could actually visualize the story unfold as I was reading it. Highly recommended to everyone!

My review is for Ally Vance, will review more when I read more. Through Glass by Ally Vance. 5⭐ Wow! It's what I expected from this author, dark and sinister. Will update my review as I read more.. Through Glass by Ally Vance - 4 darkly disturbing stars What did I just read? I've not read anything like this...ever! It had everything I'd expect from Ally Vance and more. It was dark. It was twisted. Even slightly disturbing. But that didn't stop me from reading. I had to keep reading to see what he was planning to do.  This was perfect as a short story - it gave enough to hook me in, but it would also be great if it was expanded. The opening story is my favorite ~Janise's Jivin' Book Blog This Halloween anthology was a good read, there is one story that ends in a cliff hanger. To find out how that story ends you have to wait until the release of the book in 2020. There are a few stories that were okay, all in all I did like this read and do plan on looking up a few of the authors, I would recommend this book to other readers. Shudder! The Sacrifice by Michelle Brown. No one weaves a tale of terror like Ms. Brown. Thrilling, chilling and nightmare inducing the only thing you'll "sacrifice" is being able to sleep!
