Definitely worth This is definitely worth the read, it’s full of a constant array of things happening and going wrong. Love coming true and friendships being forged. When this book ended they were headed off on a rescue mission. I’m headed off to the next book. Loving this series.

I was loving this series, but the brief notion of homophobia I read in the first book, rears its ugly head full throttle in this one, complete with the use of the word "faggot," accusations of a FUCKING TAILOR acting inappropriately by touching someone he's tailoring, and getting his hand broken. And this is from a character about to get a redemption arc. YEAH F NO. Syssi feels betrayed by this scenario and her lover and the immortal's regent, Kian, is not helpful because he wants her to have the freedom to make her own choices. This is very contrary to his alpha nature. However, circumstances on the horizon will take away everyone's choice. This third book did not disappoint as the love story for Syssi and Kian reaches a pinnacle and one for Amanda, Kian's sister, launches. This book ends on a closed story arc, but to find out the conclusion of the battle between the immortal clans, I think I will have to pick up the Dark Enemy trilogy next. Personally, I can't wait. These books were that good. The entire trilogy is currently available and is a Kindle Unlimited offering.

Now we're talking! I had a problem with the pace of the previous books but things are picking up now. Background characters are coming to the forefront so we know some of them might star in their own book. I especially like Dalhu, the enemy. Throughout the last book, I kept thinking he's smart and has sent redeeming qualities such as making sure his sex partners were safe. Plus, he's sexy as heck. I'm looking forward to the next book.

I’ll be honest. How I got to the third book I don’t know because looking back this series was actually terrible. Laughing to myself just thinking of how ridiculous it was. SOME parts were good but overall the two main lovers whose names I already forgot were so stupid. Like... every little thing was a problem- annoyingly so. And they fell in love after like 3 days. Pathetic. ALSO: the main “problem” and explanation of the background was repeated in long paragraphs like 8-10 times. I’m not kiddin I’ll be honest. Update: I looked at the description and the main characters were Kian and Syssi (don’t ask me how to pronounce that or what the hell kind of a name that is). ANYWAY- idiots. Both of them! Waaahaaay too emotional for just having met each other I mean I get it they are “fated” but damn it’s like one little argument and Syssi goes running for the hills throwing a raging pity party AGAIN.

I can't recommend this series enough You won't regret reading this series. The story continues to follow Kian, Amanda, Syssi and the rest of the clan as they continue to try and stay protected from a rival clan and find a way to increase their clan.

Boring! Also, what is with the author and slut shaming? Again... why am I reading this??

Lucas (Author) Dark Stranger Immortal (The Children Of The Gods Paranormal Romance Series Book 3) Kindle Edition by I.T. Lucas (Author) I've put all three of these books together not only because they are a trilogy, but because the first two end on cliffhangers that bleed over, sometimes word for word, into the next. So, hey, three for one, yay! Imagine being the son of a Goddess, being 2000 years old, running a massive conglomerate nearly on your own and having to spend every night with a different women, wiping her memory of you so you are truly alone except for your family. Oh, and you have fangs that exude venom and are the origin of the legends of vampires, although you don't take blood. Your venom merely causes some of the greatest orgasms your partners have ever had. All you want is your truemate, but you no longer believe in that myth. Now imagine you are a graduate student who has precognitive abilities who is working with a fun and flirty female professor researching paranormal abilities. You have no idea that she has an ulterior motive, she is looking for Dormants, descendants of the Gods, many many generations removed. Your only romantic and sexual experience is one obnoxious, bordering on a verbally abusive male. These three books are their stories – Kian (the son of the Goddess) and Syssie(the ordinary grad student with precog). They are pushed together when Amanda's lab (the Professor) is destroyed by Doomers – our villains du jour. The sexual tension and relationship confusion are both drawn tight as we see the expectations of a modern woman versus that of man who has lived 2000 years and doesn't quite get the concepts of sexual liberation, delegation and democracy. There is a lot of humor and a lot of action scenes plus tension from the attraction that quickly turns to true love. Secondary character, from Amanda to Dahlu who should be the main villain but is not what we expect, are exceptionally well drawn. One moment you thing Amanda is a shallow woman moving fro man to man, then you realize she has no choice and is seeking a 'cure' to all that. Dahlu appears to be a whack job of a religious he-man-woman-hater, then you find, like a lot of Scientologist, he has discovered the internet. All three books have a continuous plot and are addicting. I would finish one and immediately need the next like a fix! This Trilogy is Book Nerd Approved 4 out of 5 stars – losing one star because, for a 2000 year old man from Eastern Europe, Kian has an amazing grasp on the English language including American idioms and slang. And well, CCTV/Face Recognition programs would eventually catch the century old people, particularly if a business competitor got a bee in their bonnet to bring them down. https://www.amazon.com/Dark-Stranger-... https://www.amazon.com/Dark-Stranger-... https://www.amazon.com/Stranger-Immor...

Now as Syssi and Kian fall head over heels for each other the terrifying truth about who Syssi is could either make or break the new couple. Syssi's brother, Andrew, ends up in the mix when Amanda goes missing and Syssi & Michael (another potential dormant godlike human) gets sick. However, Amanda, is kidnapped by an enemy and so begins the start of her story. Although it has been building for the last few books. Drama insues as every one has they own agenda. This book is from multiple points of view, so can be confusing. Like book one and two this book ends with another cliffhanger. I find that incredibly frustrating. Make sure you have access to the full collection as otherwise you are going to be left wanting more and/or be seriously disappointed.

I didn’t realize it was possible, but the story has managed to just keep getting better! Vampires are my creature feature of choice, but finding a decent series can be difficult. The first three books of this series feature Kian and Syssi, but there are other characters who also have a main role, especially is this book. There’s the standard story of Kian and Syssi. A love interest so intense that the two cannot be without one another. Yeah...no This was a waste of my time. Three books with the weakest plot, underdeveloped characters, terrible dialogues, a narrative that started good enough but ended being mediocre at best and a story that just dragged on and on and on with nothing mayor happening. 3.5 Stars. I'm kind of glad the main story is over for Kian and Syssi... because this book sure showed us some potential for exploring some of the other characters and I fund I'm highly anticipating getting to know them better. One of the things I dislike about the first three of these stories was that they could have easily been condensed and put into one, maybe two books. There is a lot of mundane back and forth. The concept is interesting and the characters are dynamic. I also enjoy that we get lots of different perspectives and they don't all share the same "voice". Ok, I made it to book three and I’m starting to have quite an issue with Syssie, the lead character. She just comes across weak and blubbering - which kind of contradicts the overall description of her being a woman who wants to look after herself and not lean on others. Every time something even remotely difficult happens she cries and to someone who tells them they will look after her... it just doesn’t sit very well, and makes her a little annoying. This is a paranormal romance series and the third in the Children of the Gods series, and a continuation of Dark Stranger Revealed. The story of Kian and Syssi continues. With the big Reveal out of the way now the drama couple has to begin to make things work, while waiting to see if she is able to transition. If you are wanting a non-addicting and boring romance this series is not for you. Ms. Lucas spins a good tale and keeps you on your toes with wit and twists. Buckle up and enjoy the ride.

Probably the best of the three book's that I read. I really could not put this one down! I love a multidimensional story, and the different points of view provided me with just that! As always, I enjoyed getting to know more about the characters-especially Annani and Dalhu! They were the showstoppers in this book, and I loved it! I definitely feel as though the author picked up the pace with this one-by a long shot.

Still liking the series IMO, the first 3 bks, should've been just one. They were so short and were pretty much about the same ppl and subjects. Just wrap it up into one. This book inserted a bit of what's going to happen in the next couple of books. Why do I keep reading this series? Because I Really like these Very interesting characters, I also like the mythos behind them and the plot can be quite interesting.

Dark Stranger Immortal (The Children of The God Paranormal Romance Series Book 3) Reading about Syssi Spivak's difficult transformation to become immortal was interesting but Dalhu's pursuit of Amanda was endearing. He (a Doomer) has fallen in 💘 with the Professor (an Immortal). I'm sure her brother Kian will be pissed and on the warpath to find the clan's mortal enemy in the next book of this series. Can't wait to read it.

Finally Syssi is truly a dormant I was getting a little nervous for her because obviously her and Kian belong together. Finally though I am ready to get into Amandas story. The Doomers the immortals who beliefs are opposite of Kians people have finally found some of them and he one who has found her, let’s just say he is ready for a different life. I’m off to read more about her, I think she will be a lot more interesting!
