The is the second book in the Bride Herder series and it’s the first book I’ve read from this author and I really loved this story. When the train they are all on arrives in Bent late at night, she sees a man at the train station and the eyes reach each other. It is good and I ready to read another book by this author. I highly recommend this awesome story and make sure you read the first one to get the back story of how this rancher turns into a matchmaker and tries to make people like he did cattle for breeding. That alone cracks me up hence the title of the series. I can’t wait for the next story in this series as I know from the first two it will be great. Oh, and this is a multiauthor series which is a great way to find new authors as I just did.

Upon arriving everything is in a turmoil due to the death of the Matchmaker and her nephew taking over a business he knows nothing about! Myrakle loves music and when she plays the little piano ribbons of color are set forth. What a beautiful picture that sets in my mind. Maybe-Joseph as Myrakle thinks of him works with his father making violins. Can Joseph and Myrakle win each others hearts? The characters in this story are beautifully written and have hearts to see beyond disability. I fell in love with them immediately. I received an ARC of this book and am choosing to leave an honest review.

This is probacbly a four star book. In this series it really is a two star book. So I opted to give it three stars. My reasoning is that it went over far too much of the previous book in the series to the point that it was boring for the first half of the book. We did get a bit more information about Myrakle Estes, our mail order bride, but basically it was the first book just rewritten in a slightly different way. Shame on the author and authors of the series. It kind of put me off of the serie This is probacbly a four star book. In this series it really is a two star book. So I opted to give it three stars. Shame on the author and authors of the series. It kind of put me off of the series, but this book finally put to rest this character/bride in the series so perhaps I can move onto the third book and not have to worry about the next bride. This bride also had an unusual name that I had no idea how to pronounce. I spent the first book shortening it to Myra when in fact “Myrakle” is pronounced “Miracle”. I can see it now but couldn’t at first. Those are my complaints however still a cute book. Clean read.

When the first book in this series came out, it introduced all the characters. THIS book I really wanted to read. I wanted to read about this lady, her dog, and their story. WOW! I was not disappointed! I love this book. The research that must have gone into this book is amazing. The story was awesome. The characters were relatable, engaging, and deeply thought out. This is a fantastic book. If the rest of this series is half as good as this book, you will not be disappointed. This is book 2 in the Bride Herder series and is simply a wonderful read. I enjoy how Ms Donovan uses music and pets, especially helper animals, in her stories. You will find adventure, and of course young love in this story. You dont often find good books where the central character is deaf but this one is very well done and the fact that Myracle has a companion/helper dog is a fantastic bonus. This is a must read!

Music in technicolor You don't often read stories about the deaf but this is a good one! If you can't hear the music, then you need to see it just like Mirakle. A very romantic story that everyone will enjoy ... Lynn Donovan let's the reader "see" the characters in all their glory. Puppy Love What a great first match! Love has no reservations. Myrakle has been completely deaf since she was 3 years old. A living father seeks to provide for her even after death. While he was alive, it was a companion dog. When he passed, he hoped her inheritance would provide her with a life mate. Could Joseph being music into her life?

Wow what an adventure! This novel features a couple 💑of my favorite characters from book 1 in the series. This one can easily stand alone. I like the way dogs are trained as hearing help. This young lady👧 displays nothing but Strength despite being deaf. 🎻🎶🎵Watch for the music! The book is good for teens and adults.

This books had alot of repetition from the first book. BUT once it got past the first few scenes, it became a story of it's own. I liked how Myrakle used her "special gift " to know that her and Joseph would be a good match. Joseph shows true devotion when she goes through a tragic incident to show how much he loves her. Wonderful I appreciated this novel in so many levels. The romance was sweet and made you anticipate book 3 in this series. I have been blessed to have had 2 service dogs and the bond and help a service dog gives was accurately portrayed. There were also several hints, or at least I thought so,of the future books to come. I would highly recommend this book.

Myrakle needs to get married to receive her inheritance, but who would want to marry a deaf girl. When she and the other girls arrive in Bent they discover that the matchmaker is clueless. But when she meets Joseph their connection is immediately. But will they get the chance to court? This is a fun story, I loved the connection she had with her dog Dumpling.

Touching Thank you so much for putting a Deaf woman in this story, plus shine the light on service dogs. My own dog is my "companion" dog. She is dot officially registered as a service dog, but she helps me out when someone has called my name, and I did not hear them. Very touching story. This is such a fun series. Chance Redburn is truly over his head with his inheritance. Lynn Donovan tells the story of Myrakle, prospective bride who is deaf, and Joseph, rancher who makes beautiful string instruments with his brothers. She slowly reveals all the secrets of these two young people. It is truly a story of two remarkable people. I loved the story.

Excellent reading with a few twists of fate. A great story and loved the main characters. Myrakle was a beautiful young lady suffering from deafness and loss of her father. Joseph was a friendly easy going guy. They meet and both of them feel a connection but the Bride Herder has different matches for them. Will anything work in their favor? Hard to put down.

Clean romance Well written, clean romance. I was disappointed though that it's so similar to the first book in the series. Too much was a repeat. I still gave five stars because it was good. Ok Love the notion of companion dogs. I have heard they can be trained to help people with many diverse kind of issues. Liked the story. Still struggle a bit with the character doing the "matching" now. Ok Love the notion of companion dogs. I have heard they can be trained to help people with many diverse kind of issues. Herd the Music ( The Bride Herder Book 2) A mail order bride book series with a difference. Myrakle is different on two counts, one she is deaf with a companion dog and two she can see music. Throw in an inept matchmaker, kidnappers, and a tragedy to round out the story.

Good read This is a gentle romance with good characters including a heroine who has a disability that definitely leaves her with a disadvantage, but through the kindness of others she finds her place. Enjoy 💜

A music match After reading book 1, I was glad that Myrakle and Joseph were next. Book 1 sets up their story well. A lovely story of an independent woman with different abilities. And her dog.
