   A mildly entertaining 8 hours listen in which I learned above all else that Musk's tolerance for pain, his endurance in adversity and his intellectual capabilities surpass any bell curve's expectations. I learned of his pre-Paypal years and his consistent all-in approach to life. His expectation of others as expendable ammunition where those others are willing to serve that function because of the higher goal narrative with which Musk inspires them, notably securing a plan B for mankind on Mars. I learned of his pre-Paypal years and his consistent all-in approach to life. His expectation of others as expendable ammunition where those others are willing to serve that function because of the higher goal narrative with which Musk inspires them, notably securing a plan B for mankind on Mars. I typically pick up books like this for inspirational attitudes, processes, insights, quotes and all of these are sadly absent here, the author refers to extensive research conducted to arrive at this book but to me, it seems anything here could be found online in a half-days search..maybe that's because my planning of time is like Musks: physically count the seconds for something to be executed in perfect circumstances and add that up as a goal, expect to surpass the goal for disruptions but don't include a guess on disruptions in your focus, base everything on physics: if something isn't against the laws of nature, it can be achieved.

   Similar to Steve Jobs, this is a very interesting look into who Elon Musk is. Which is an eccentric genius. Greater insight into the three businesses he’s operating right now: Tesla, Solar City, and Space X.
