This was a cute little children's book about a "monster" under the bed. The illustrations were cute and looked like they were drawn with colored pencil. My almost three year old liked the book and thought it was pretty cool that at the end it is a puppy under the bed just like what her puppy does. Cute book. I received a copy of this ebook from a Goodreads First Reads Giveaway. It is a very cute story about a monster under your bed. It is a good book to show children that they do not need to be afraid of everything they hear or see in the night time. The cartoon drawings are simple and are easy for children to relate too.

I received a copy of this ebook from a Goodreads First Read Giveaway. It is a very adorable story about the "monster" under the bed. It is a good book to show children that they do not need to be afraid of everything that goes bump in the night. Sometimes, the monster under the bed just might be a friend in the shadows. I think children who love animals, even if they are just cartoon drawings in books, will enjoy this book. I received a copy of this ebook from a Goodreads First Read Giveaway. Cute Book Cute book with nice pictures. I like how the author took the idea of a scary monster under the bed and subverted it with really.

Which one of us reading this review as a child has never been afraid of the dark? I for one have. I’d been afraid the bogey-man would come out of my door, I’d been afraid of a monstrous creature waiting to pounce and then devour me the moment I would close my eyes. Even the slightest sound would seem to be menacing me as well. Which is why this book has resonated with my inner-child. Even as an adult when I first cat I owned would walk across my back as I slept, I had visions of my childhood appea Which one of us reading this review as a child has never been afraid of the dark? Even the slightest sound would seem to be menacing me as well. Which is why this book has resonated with my inner-child. Even as an adult when I first cat I owned would walk across my back as I slept, I had visions of my childhood appearing in my head, which woke me up, only to find my cat innocently looking at me. This book reminded my inner-child of mother coming to and assuring me there was never nothing there by turning on the room’s light, opening the closet, and looking under the bed with me. As an adult I believe this book is an indispensable bedtime story which can help eliminate a child’s nighttime of going to sleep in the dark. For having reminded me of my own fears at that early age and for wanting to help parents deal with their children’s fear, I’ve given Lisbeth Antionette 5 STARS for her endeavor here.

This is a wonderful bedtime story for small children. It addresses the fears that a child may have at night with a story that has a delightful ending that will put them at ease. The illustrations are colorful and work well with the story. I would recommend it! I received this book free to review from Goodreads Giveaways.

The illustrations are nicely done but not quite on a professional level. The language is very advanced for an early reader or toddler for whom this book would be primarily appropriate. An editor might add the missing polish.

So so Not the best book ever but it was alright. I usually like more rhymes. The artwork was cute. I will read to the grandkids and re-review.

Cute story It’s a cute story to explain to children why it’s not scary going to bed. Why not to be scared of what you perceive to be under your bed aka the The Monster Under the Bed! My only reason for not giving a 5 is I think depending on the age of the child, the beginning could actually make bedtime scarier ...yes the ending is adorable but children dwell on the first thing or the last thing they hear. So the book could go either way .
