   “Perhaps if you tidy, And not play instead.” Author Nora Luke from Virginia has published four books for Kindle - BABY BEAR LOVES CANDY, BABY BEAR DOESN’T LIKE THE DENTIST, BABY BEAR STAYS UP TO LATE, and now BABY BEAR CLEANS HIS ROOM. She apparently has published more books during her 15 year tenure in the field of writing children’s books that are not only entertaining but also education, addressing habits and behaviors in children made simple to understand for children when read as bedtime sto “Perhaps if you tidy, And not play instead.” Author Nora Luke from Virginia has published four books for Kindle - BABY BEAR LOVES CANDY, BABY BEAR DOESN’T LIKE THE DENTIST, BABY BEAR STAYS UP TO LATE, and now BABY BEAR CLEANS HIS ROOM. She apparently has published more books during her 15 year tenure in the field of writing children’s books that are not only entertaining but also education, addressing habits and behaviors in children made simple to understand for children when read as bedtime stories starring lovable animals. The story is told in rhyming poetry that children love and the illustrations are superb (since the illustrator is not identified we can only imagine that they also are the added talent of author Nora Luke). BABY BEAR CLEANS HIS ROOM is a fine take on children who struggle with tidiness – especially picking up after themselves in their playful room. Baby Bear is only 3 years old, loves to play with all his toys, book, and red truck etc, but is negligent about cleaning up after play. His mother tells him to clean his room because there is no more space. At first Baby Bear ignores the warning and continues to play – until he cannot find his favorite red truck. He seeks help form his mother and father and siblings, Baby Bear acquiesces and spends the day cleaning his room – and there of course he finally finds his red truck ‘His room after that, Was kept tidy and then, He never lost any, Of his toys again.’ Not only is the writing charming and the illustrations excellent, but also Nora includes the assistance of loving parents who helps solve a ‘problem’ – a fine adjunct to the usual children’s stories. This is an excellent series, well worth everyone’s attention – especially parents who have children with habits like Baby Bear.
