This is a solid non-fiction picture book that is perfect for fall. It has great illustrations and fun facts about apples from the perspective of a young girl visiting an apple orchard with her family. It even touches on all of the great treats you can make with apples. My five year old and I really appreciated the periodic questions throughout the book. I'm working with my daughter on retaining what she reads so the review questions were perfect! Reviewed by: Nicole This is a solid non-fiction picture book that is perfect for fall. Cute illustrations, some good apple info, a few awkward parts with the recall questions: "We drink the cider...What do people do with apple cider?". Overall a decent addition to the seasonal picture book nonfiction shelves. Ages 4-6.
