It’s a humiliating way to have to play the game, but at least he—er, she’s getting better at it! But now that Lacey has leveled her character up to an unprecedented level for a Courtesan and unlocked some of the secret, high-level perks of her class—like access to the spell trees of the Charisma-fueled Sorceress class—she finally isn’t quite so helpless as she once was. Thanks to her unique skills, she might end up being the most powerful magic-user on the server, and she has more than one way to make her enemies hot! Riding high from her clever victories over the Lich-Lord’s lieutenants, she takes to the skies with her guildmate Topper the Paladin to track down their lost friend Jazzus and confront the traitorous Haxor, before they pin down the location of the Lich-Lord and end his evil schemes once and for all. The only problem is that there are still a few nagging, unanswered questions… Why haven’t they been attacked directly yet? Why has it been so easy for Lacey to gain more power? And exactly how many more NPCs will she need to seduce before this is over? Lacey’s victories have all been a little too perfect… and the only person who has the answers to her questions is the Lich-Lord himself. The action is hot, the stakes are high, and Lacey will need to pull out every skill she can muster if she wants to win the day. Can she and her friends beat the Lich-Lord at his own game, or are they playing right into his hands? With numerous pages of humorous, gender-swapped fantasy action and some VERY steamy scenes, this book is intended for mature audiences who enjoy FF and MF encounters with lots of gender-bending fun.

I read this about a month ago and still haven't written a review. Not sure how to not make it sound like ones for the previous two books in the series because it is essentially the same book. All three pieces of the trilogy feel like one single book split into multiple parts for no apparent reason. It's like being asked to rate the beginning, the middle and the end of the story separately. Yes, the story continues where the book #2 ended and successfully ends here. All three pieces of the trilogy feel like one single book split into multiple parts for no apparent reason. It's like being asked to rate the beginning, the middle and the end of the story separately. Yes, the story continues where the book #2 ended and successfully ends here. There is still plenty of very graphic sex scenes and, yes, I'm still amazed how I managed to get this book not knowing what it really is. By the time I found out it's essentially a fantasy erotica I was already committed and couldn't back down. I had to read it through. For science, of course. It is LitRPG in its core, and it does delve deeper into the mechanics of the game despite it being a cover for the 18+ sex fest. Some books, looking at you The Monster Spawn, are only RPG-focused and yet fail at even that. So I suppose the Dragon Lady does an amazing job for only being a part-time LitRPG book. The sex scenes were well-described and full of action, sometimes in a very unexpected way, but that's nothing new at this point. The first 2 parts were exactly like that. The main issue I had was the missing halfling Erlix. I didn't even realize how his, mostly dirty, jokes were a huge fun driver for me. Every scene he was in contained a hilarious remark or a smart-ass comment. I missed that. Without him it was just going from point A to point B, killing or fucking everything in between. Time is running out. The team needs to stop the Lich Lord. Issues and problems everywhere. Fighting and fucking also everywhere. But no Erlix and no jokes :/ In the end, we still have no idea what's going on, but we do get our closure. So it's not a bad book by any means but isn't anything special either. I've been called out a few times for over-rating and always rounding up when I'm on the fence so I'll be adopting a new, some would say proper, system of rating. Since I'm exclusively listening to books for a couple of years now, I'm also including the narrator factor in the total score. Here is how Goodreads and Audible interpret their star ratings: 5 - It was amazing / I love it 4 - Really liked it / It's great 3 - Liked it / Pretty good 2 - It was OK / It's okay 1 - Did not like it / Not for me I liked the Dragon Lady and it was pretty good. I'll try to stick to this rating table as it seems to be much better than my emotional response "If I really liked it, it's a 5* book." Well, not anymore :) This is a pretty good closure for the story, and I still feel the entire trilogy should have been one properly-sized book. I will also stay away from erotica in the future as it isn't really my thing. For its LitRPG parts, the book delivered more than some books which are dedicated to the genre.   Dragon Lady (Fantasy Swapped Online #3) by Alyson Belle (Goodreads Author), JJ Jenness (Narrator) Verdict     A good closure to the story Runtime     04:19 Overall     Performance Story

(view spoiler)[Without Erlix, this series really didn't have much charm for me. (hide spoiler)] Without humor, this was just another fantasy romance... too much sex and too little everything else for my taste. Endlessly fascinating topic of getting into the other gender's stockings... err, shoes. This series is probably 3 stars for me because I really, really don't like the lit rpg element the way it's executed here, which is pages of gaming stats, something I don't study in-depth even while I'm, in fact, playing rpg's. But I realize there might be readers who read exactly because of this, so I don't want to give wrong impression. Outside of stats pages, it's quality read and I had great fun. “Dragon Lady” is a logical progression from book two and book one. Lacey continues to fantasize her way through levels, increasing her skills and stats at an unnatural pace. The players are still trapped in-game, and the Lich-Lord continues to implement his domination plan apparently undisturbed. Pressure outside of the game mounts as parents press government and game officials to do something. Time is running out for our crew as they now believe that a server restart will play directly into the Lich-Lord’s goals, initiating Ragnarök. Game elements are still visible although they seem to take a back seat to the fantasy story. I anticipated this volume to be the end of the trilogy, but I’m not 100% convinced. Without spoilers, I can say that there is some closure but it’s not complete. Will our heroes escape the game and return home? I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Will the game be over for all of them when they get to the end of this story? They have battled through so many different levels and now the ending is near. Will they make it out alive? Can they return to them normal bodies? See if they will I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Entertaining, but a bit crass #3...... 3 stars In an Virtual Reality MMORPG Kromgorn a macho-man Barbarian player gets stuck in the game as the 'joke character' Lacey. Novel 3 in the series is the final closing chapter, and things get a bit more serious, but quite like the fist two novel...... A lof of sex happens, plenty of game-lit elements and off-color humour. If you liked the previous novels, chances are you wil like this one two.
