I really enjoyed many of the stories here, including Signal Problems, The Honest Minotaur, A Work in Progress: The Bathroom, and my favourite Dundas & Dragons.

This is a fine comic anthology that showcases and celebrates local Toronto talent. Overall, a lot of the stories are great and there is a wide diversity of genres ranging from realistic, fantasy, science fiction and stories that mine ancient myths for inspiration. A number of stories have nice servings of humor. Overall this is a strong collection of stories and anyone interested in local Toronto comic creators should pick this up.

This is the first Toronto Comics book I read, so I was particularly excited to read comics about my city. There are some great stories and re-imaginings about Toronto's places - which is so rare to see (as even local authors often set their stories elsewhere). Some of the artwork is also quite impressive and diverse. Overall, I think I'll pick up the others in this collection. This is a charming and ecclectic mix of stories by Toronto locals or about Toronto locales. From the poignant to the fantastic, there's something here for everyone! This was fun. Most of the stories are set in Toronto, so I knew exactly where some of the stories were located. The stories themselves I thought were a bit hit or miss, but there were some very good ones. I think I'm just not really a comic person though. I don't mind graphic novels, but I don't particularly like short stories, and this is like short stories taken to an extreme. I would definitely recommend it to fans or those familiar with Toronto though. This was fun. Most of the stories are set in Toronto, so I knew exactly where some of the stories were located. Probably more like 3.5 stars. Some of the stories were cute or touching and very well done, others were kind of meh.

I enjoyed this comic anthology a lot and it has me curious to look for the previous volumes and keep an eye out for future ones. There are 21 stories. Some did fall flat but there are ones that impressed me a lot whether its the variety in art style or the story it told.
