I thoroughly enjoyed this book - I won it in a Goodreads giveaway, and was going to give it to my 12-year old nephew straight away, not being sure what age it was aimed at. However I started reading it myself (won't give my real age but more than 4 times older than my nehew :) ) and couldn't put it down as I got so engrossed in it. Historical and adventurous it certainly makes great reading, and recommend it to anyone. I did receive a copy as a Goodreads winner. I feel this was a well written Pirate adventure that kept delivering. Vivid descriptions pulled me into the story. Great characters and I especially love Eleanor in her big sister roll and then how she displays girl power when needed! I could definitely see follow up tales and adventures!
