Thank you Goodreads for sending me this book. What a charming book. I work with dogs and the author has captured the real essence of Bentley. He is a true companion, a very smart dog (when its sunny, he knows to walk in the shade etc). He brightens up peoples lives, especially the authors next door neighbour. Bentley is a well travelled dog and I would imagine a true joy to be with.

Short and sweet, this little book gives a brief insight into the life of a woman and her dog Bentley who is a bit celebrity in their neighborhood! At 48 pages this is a short story but I definitely would have enjoyed it if it were longer! I'm sure there's plenty more stories to be told about Bentley and his interactions with the world!
