There were a few funny spots (mainly the Bureau-Rats), but it certainly wasn't comical all the way through. From the formatting aspect of it, it wasn't easy to read, because there were so many words. But on the other side of that coin, all those words were good, because they explained a lot about the connection between economics and God's word/law. As a whole, I think it should give Christians a good understanding about God's view of economics, politics, etc. (Mainly, that He has one, and that w There were a few funny spots (mainly the Bureau-Rats), but it certainly wasn't comical all the way through. While this book did not keep me up into the wee hours of the night (my usual five rating) it did get my attention quickly and kept me engaged throughout. In college I studied Economics and honestly didn't enjoy it as much as Finance for the reason that it just didn't make much sense to me. I found this book to be very in line with the Bible and it just makes sense. I found this book to be very in line with the Bible and it just makes sense. I think for too long we have tried to take God's designs for economics and put our spin on them, only to end in disaster, as much of the United States and world are experiencing now. The book is done in a comic book style with very amusing mice and other fun animals that make you smile. The message is engaging and challenging enough for upper high school and college but also easily understandable for younger readers as well. Obviously adults as well, my husband is loving it too. My nine year old liked some of the stories, though he may not understand the concepts. I would love to revisit this book with my kids in High School for their economics credits. I would encourage any one to read this. Kevin Swanson sells it off his site the cheapest. Happy to have found this, confirmed what we believe and goes to show you what you learn in college is not the correct, biblical method.

I really enjoyed this. And don’t let the “in comics” part fool you into thinking it’s somehow just for kids. While it’ll probably be more appealing to kids than reading Bastiat’s The Law or Hazlitt’s Economics in One Lesson, the message is still very appropriate for adults. And the comics are pretty helpful as the medium of explanation. Of course, the Biblical part is what I enjoyed most about this book. It truly offers sound economic principles for society based on the very Scriptures of our Lor I really enjoyed this. It truly offers sound economic principles for society based on the very Scriptures of our Lord. I don’t always agree with his interpretation of the Scriptures (for instance, I don’t know that I am completely on board with his definition and application of the term “usury”), but it was still very refreshing to read through an economics book that at least in principle is founded on what should be our final standard for the subject - the Bible. This book would be great for kids, to be sure. Nonetheless, I still would highly recommend it to adult Christians who are wanting to explore economics from a Biblical worldview (which my hope would be all adult Christians).

If you don't know much about our economic system and how it violates the Biblical principles of economics then you definitely need to read this! An excellent and highly entertaining comic book that will educate you far beyond any high school or college level economics course. My avid comic-reading son (who is 11) and I keep stealing this from each other every time one of us sets it down. Wow... amazing how a comic book gave me more education than High School, Bible college or seminary on this subject. I learned more about money, government, law and business from this small book than I have in all my growing up years combined. MUST READ!

This was an enjoyable book that I read two pages, give or take, about everyday until I finished it this morning. It's thought-provoking. It explains the Biblical view of economics in a clear, concise, blunt way. I recommend it highly.
