A fine enough entry in the series, featuring miniature golf and wrestling. The change of setting and sport in each short volume doesn't leave a lot of room for character development, but the creator manages to move the overarching story along a little bit more. I'm still looking forward to future installments. A fine enough entry in the series, featuring miniature golf and wrestling. Never in my days did I think I would find a comic about golfing compelling, but here we are! This series is so cute. I really want to buy this for my own personal collection, because the art is to die for.

I thoroughly enjoyed this installment. Things are coming to a head and the plot thickens! I'm excited to see how this all ends. The Order is a real mess, y'all haha. Other than wishing Mug had more to do in this installment, I was once again completely enamored by Bosma's storytelling, imagination, sense of humor, and delightful art (color was particularly striking this go around). The overarching Order of Mages plot adds a compelling element, giving the series a boost past "fun fantasy adventures". Plus, golf. My Favorite so far, though I'm bummed there's only going to be one more. Bosma's art styles seem to be a bit looser here which I quite like, also monster king is adorable. It's good to see Wiz and Mug apart for a bit here too, it really lets them shine in their own ways (also we get to see young Mug who is adorable). Stoked for the next book! Grabbed my interest immediately. There is a cast of uncommon characters, clever dialogue, AND deftly combines golf and wrestling! It has stories within stories and skillfully tees up a an intriguing story line for the next book in the series. A satisfying read in every way.

Real good. Just. Really good. Sports, drama, action, magic, suspense, adventure, friendship, weirdness. A wonderful combination. This volume brought the underlying driving force to the fore and set up a grand finale I eagerly anticipate.

Ampak sem prebral to prvo, k je ta prva pršla :) Krasne linije ma in fino poenostavlja figure - precej materiala tukej :)

These books are just so fun! So beautifully drawn and colored, with humorous and creative character design and witty dialogue. I can't wait to see how this story progresses. Another fun volume. I'll never get tired of the art, and it's been fun to get a glimpse into the wider mythology of the world itself. I look forward to the fourth and final volume! This series keeps surpassing itself. The latest volume is centered around a golf course, but it still manages to inject a bit of wrestling into it.

How Sam Bosma got me to care SO MUCH about a series about sports is beyond me. The art in this series is bananas good and when they got to the bit in this volume about pro-wrestling I was DONE (in a good way.) I can't wait for the final installment.
