Finished reading this morning, and I enjoyed the earlier chapters. However, as the book got closer to "present" day, it started to lose some of its truth. I don't think I have ever read a biography of someone still living, so, there were things that the author could not know (unless she was able to access that crystal ball power) However, it is nice to read about a guy who lives up to his mistakes (which don't include doing drugs, getting arrested for drunk driving, or spending weeks on end at r Finished reading this morning, and I enjoyed the earlier chapters. And I really do have a soft spot for Mr. Smith. I was one of the suburban white girls who liked his music (a problem for the hardcore rappers), and I enjoyed The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, and how can you not enjoy at least one of his movies?? They are so very different -- my favorite for the time being is The Pursuit of Happyness.

I just finished reading the book Will Power by Jan Berenson and this book was a biography of will smith. I found it to be a very interesting book. I didn’t know someone else’s life would be so appealing to read about it. What surprised me about this book was how relatable it is. It is a life story that is relatable to everyone. I found it to be very interesting because it was so relatable. That just proved to me that anything is possible and impossible is nothing.

Will Smith is such an inspiration to me for what he's accomplished so it was natural for me to pick up this book. The first half of the book was really insightful and showed the gems that influenced Will to be the man he is today. The latter half of the book was like reading a "things you do and don't know about Will Smith" book: so many figures and accomplishments with no real depth. It really took away from what started out a good book. Will Smith is such an inspiration to me for what he's accomplished so it was natural for me to pick up this book.
