Running in circles At first I loved this series, but after Lexi broke up with Maddox and went to Solomon it just went down hill. I just get a bad feeling about Solomon. I feel like he intentionally led Lexi to discover Maddox when he was undercover leading to their break-up. Solomon is also extremely secretive and shady. He treats her like a child at times. He never should have hid where he was and what he did to her ex at the end. It also seems like Maddox comes to her rescue and saves her more Running in circles At first I loved this series, but after Lexi broke up with Maddox and went to Solomon it just went down hill. Maybe she likes being inadvertantly controlled by Solomon, but this book just left a bad taste with me. I don't know that I'd read another installment of this series unless Lexi were to wake up and realize the lopsided relationship she was in and to get out of it.

Love it, loved it, loved it! I adore the Lexi Grave series for so many reasons and A Few Good Woman is a prime example of why so many people love the series. The characters are wonderful and dynamic; I love to see great characters show growth and change, not that Solomon needs any changes, but for him we see a side that is no surprise, but it is one that we have only speculated about before. Lexi grows in skills and maturity level and yet maintains that wonderful heart and humor that captivated us from the beginning. Their lives have changed so much from when she was a little lost and working as a temp; now she is moving into a permanent relationship with confidence in her job skills. BUT even Lexi is not prepared for the re-entry of the jerk of an ex-fiance whose cheating sent her into a tailspin and into the army. It seems he he has a special talent for destroying women's lives although this time it is from a different perspective. This time the question becomes has a woman destroyed, or ended, his life. Camilla Chafer pulls us into their wonderful world and makes these awesome characters seem so real that we root for them with all our might.

I've always loved Solomon's devotion, but never liked that Lexie doesn't know that much about his past. And in this book, he out and out lied to her twice. Supposedly, they were for the good, but I don't know how I could trust him after that. Maddox didn't even do what she thought he did and she broke up with him and never went back. It also made me mad that Jord ruined the last couple weeks of Lily's pregnancy by making her think he was cheating on her. Ok just going to say awesome!! I love these books. This story Lexi 's ex a blast from the past rolls in, causing chaos and problems for Lexi. As she tries to figure out why he is out to destroy her life, she has to worry about her brother Jord maybe cheating on her pregnant best friend. Then Maddox just pops up and she wonders what could've been. But things have a way of working out. Solomon shows her just how far he is willing to go to protect her. Really this is probably closer to 2 1/2 ⭐️ but as you can't give half a star I'll go for 3. The writing really is pretty average - the characters shallow and stereotyped, and actually I think I would dislike most of them if I met them! Lexie is vain, shallow and pretty slow at picking up on clues (kind of an important skill for a PI), Lily is annoying, Solomon is ... something ... My biggest bugbear though ... PLEASE get an editor CC!!! When 'there' was used instead of 'their'... 😫 The last straw!!!

Terrific Love this series! Lexi is amazing. When her life gets crazy she doesn't stress, she fixes all of it with Solomon by her side. Every book you see the characters grow. You can relate with them. I would recommend reading books in order so you know what the characters have been through. Terrific Love this series! Lexi is amazing. Pretty good. But no one really thought about the earlier situation with Lexi and Maddox? That bugged me throughout most of the book. Speaking of Maddox, I am so curious. Also, what a piece of scum Anthony is. I always enjoy Lexi's brothers, especially Garrett. IS Serena reverting? Finally, what the heck is "rocket" in a salad? 3.6 stars Pretty good. The troubles an ex can cause Lexi finds herself being framed for her exfiances murder. Between getting engaged, her sister getting engaged, her best friend having a baby and courrupting her new niece, it surprising she has time to work.

I love this series. It has been a long time since I read the last one and I was excited to see a new one. I remember the other ones having more tension, more humor, and more romance. Not a lot of interaction between Lexi and Solomon. I hope this isn't the last in the series. I love this series. It has been a long time since I read the last one and I was excited to see a new one. Lexie is back and better than ever. It was so good reading another wonderful Lexie story, she is engaged to Solomon and they are living together yay, Lexie has also gone back to work for Solomon which I love as they work well together and Lexie's character grew in different and interesting ways in this book that made the story more interesting. I have read all the books in this series and they just keep getting better! Lexi Graves is a PI who is engaged to her boss, Solomon. Her ex-fiance, Anthony Steadman, has returned to town and his mother and sisters show up at Lexi's office asking for her help as someone is trying to kill Anthony. Also, her best friend, Lily, is pregnant and due any day. With all that going on, she and her sister are both trying to plan their individual engagement dinners. Nah. Nothing could POSSIBLY go wrong! Lexi and Solomon are planning their engagement party, Lilly is convinced Jordan is cheating on her and wants Lexi to find out, the ex is believed to be killed, and his wife and two girlfriends keep bombarding Lexi to find missing money and the missing ex. Phew! Never a dull moment in this series! Maddox is back in this book, and of course the competition is still on between Lexi and her sister to have the best engagement party. After reading "A Few Good Women" I am both happy and sad. I'm happy because the plot was really good but also sad because now I have to wait until next year for the next book. He is pretending to be a millionaire seeking a high end house to buy. The problem is he is a con artist and has no money. Additionally, Lily is close to delivering her baby but also thinks Jordan might be having an affair. Serena is in competition with Lexi for the best engagement dinner and her daughter, Victoria is picking up a few words she shouldn't know. Once again, this edition has plenty of action, intrigue and promises for a challenging future. One thing for sure is Lexi can handle whatever the future will bring and I can't wait to read more about it!

This book is the continuation of the Lexi Graves series. Everything is starting to fall into place for Lexi with her career and her boss/ love of her life Soloman, but just when she thinks everything is going her way, she gets a blast from her past. Lexi finds herself not only trying to figure out the mystery of her new assignment but also trying to figure out a dilemma for her BFF and sister-in-law, Lily, as well. I got an advance copy of this book, in exchange for a review and, even though I was on holiday, and had some difficulties downloading it, once I started it, I just wanted to continue reading (but my holiday interupted my reading a bit!). LOVED this book! This is fun chick lit at its best! If you enjoy a fun mystery with humor, you will love this book. In it, Lexi is on her way to having it all: a sexy fiance, a great job, and great friends. Just on the cusp of this, a nightmare from her past revisits her present attempting to destroy her future. As she gets sucked into solving the problem, she stumbles across things that make her question her confidence in others and her own judgement. Fans of the genre will love this book.
