Langston, also known as Tookie Man, is a cocky money launderer that's used to having his way. Newly single, he is ready to mingle with the ladies. Used to getting his way, he is looking for a bad chick to put on his arm. He meets two ladies, Yaniyzah and Brooke that catches his attention immediately. When Yaniyzah rejects him, he doesn't take it personal until he sees her Langston, also known as Tookie Man, is a cocky money launderer that's used to having his way. Newly single, he is ready to mingle with the ladies. Used to getting his way, he is looking for a bad chick to put on his arm. He meets two ladies, Yaniyzah and Brooke that catches his attention immediately. When Yaniyzah rejects him, he doesn't take it personal until he sees her for the third time. He tries wooing her by throwing his cash around. Unimpressed by his handsomeness and money, he turns on his charm. Only slightly impressed, Langston tries harder to break through her wall and capture her heart. Especially once the preciousness of her five-month-old daughter Imani awakens a tenderness inside of him that no real thug would ever fess up to owning. Not really the player type, Langston knows he has to make a choice between the two. The closer he gets to Yaniyzah, the more distance grows between him and Brooke. Brooke asks too many questions, and it makes him very uncomfortable. He doesn't let people in his business, certainly not his women. Yaniyzah doesn't ask many questions, but she isn't letting her guard down either. He does everything he can to gain her trust, while leaving Brooke to unanswered calls. Yaniyzah may be winning Langston's heart with no effort, but Brooke isn't the type of chick to play runner-up. Everything seemed to be going great for Langston, until the drought hits Dallas. He begins to supply one of his boys with coke. Once his name starts to circulate around the drug game, another dealer wants in. He considers supplying him until he learns that the FED's are in town. Being that drugs weren't his main source of income, he has no problem with leaving it alone. But that won't be before he is made aware that his face is added to FED's the list of potential dealers. After a brief talk with Brooke, he knows he has no choice but to leave town. Thinking about himself at the time, he didn't consider who he would be leaving behind. He is quickly reminded when Yaniyzah comes and drop a bomb on him. Which woman will be there for him when he needs it the most? Will he be able to get away before he gets caught up? These questions and more will be answered in the first installment of this explosive series.

Good heart Tookie starts out checking out two women, but one quickly moves to the forefront of his mind and captures his heart. Yaniyzah tries her best to sway from Tookie but his consistency plus his love for her daughter persuade her into giving him a chance. In doing so, they discovers how they ride for each other. I love how he fully claims Imani as his daughter even though they have no blood ties. But don't tell him that because he will go upside your head literally for denying that he's her Good heart Tookie starts out checking out two women, but one quickly moves to the forefront of his mind and captures his heart. I looking forward to seeing how things go from here. Tookie is a good man with a good heart and he finds his match with Yaniyzah. I love his relationship with his grandma and siblings.

Good read! Ooweee, things are heating up! I really enjoyed this book. I was up until 1 a.m reading because I couldn't stop and just had to know what was next lol. I almost didn't like Langston because I thought he was about to play games with my girl Yaniyzah. Imani is just a cute mess and I love the bond she has with Tookie. I knew something wasn't right with Brooke. I'm looking at Punchie a lil sideways too but I don't know yet lol. I hope he continues to do right by Yaniyzah and I'm looking fo Good read! Hustler's Fantasy Tookie is such a wonderful guy. He took to Imani with no problem. I had a feeling Brook was an undercover agent. I wonder who is running their mouth. Idk why I wait so long to read this book, I can definitely say that it was worth the wait. I knew something was up with Brooke when she was asking all of those questions. She wanted to know sooo much so fast. I didn't know if she was the FEDS or if she was an enemy of some sort or not. I love how Tookie was straight up with Yaniyzah from the beginning he let her know what it was. This book was so awesome. LOVED IT This book was very well-written. I enjoyed this book from the beginning to the end. Tookie was a what I call a Real man. He handled his business in a BOSS like manner. I know it was something about Brooke I didn't like and I am glad Tookie was finally able to break down the wall Yazniyah had up she is a good look for him and she needs him in her and Imani life. I hope all goes good for them and I will be patiently waiting for the next installment to see what happens. LOVED IT This book was very well-written. Loved it! I absolutely love Tookie, I don't care for that Brooke chic from jump then she was always asking questions...I kind of wish Tookie acted like he didn't know but stayed away from her but make her look stupid in the end... He really has been there for Nyi and Mani, I just wondering who could've been running there mouth about his business Loved it! Nice read Enjoyed the read. Langston was exactly what Yaniyzah needed in her life. He was so good with Imani, heartwarming to say the least. Saw right through "Brooke" and all of her questions. Inky is definitely suspect and Punchie's starting to look that way as well. Can't wait to see what the next book holds. Another job well done Ms Jones. Nice read Enjoyed the read.
