See what reviewers say: 'Cat & Mouse is a well written and researched epic drama with great historical merit wrapped around a fascinating web of characters ... which provides something for everyone: riots, romance, mystery, intrigue and crime all the while depicting lies, deception, betrayal and political struggles complete with a climatic ending - what more could you want from a novel?' Andrea Saxelby for the Kindle Book Review. 'Cat & Mouse is a novel about people, a mixture of romance and thriller. First it engagingly explores its characters' very different worlds. Then it carefully brings them together for a shattering conclusion. You won't forget this book!' Moorsman 'The Blood Upon the Rose is a masterfully written historical romance that places the reader in Ireland during the aftermath of World War 1 ... I enjoyed this book so much, that I look forward to reading it a second time.' Alle Wells, author of Railroad Man. The Blood Upon the Rose: 'One of the most poignant love stories I have ever read.' Jenny Twist, author of Domingo's Angel 'In a nutshell, I thought that The Monmouth Summer was a masterpiece ... I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in the Seventeenth Century and looking to read a well researched, action packed story of an incredibly famous rebellion in English history.' Samantha J. Morris. The Monmouth Summer is a superb historical novel. Not only is the book compelling as great fiction, it provides the reader with a strong sense of the social and cultural milieu of late Seventeenth Century England.' Howard Wolf. Women of Courage is ‘a 3 book bundle of historical sagas spanning over 1200 pages making for a hefty bargain when you also consider each individual book sells for $4 thus saving you a bit more than half the price. Each book is loaded with plenty of flawed yet believable characters set in interesting and largely historically accurate settings.’ Don Kidwell, Amazon top 500 reviewer. It was very well written with a few little spelling mistakes (which I expect when reading a Kindle version). The first book is called Cat & Mouse in which a British Suffragette called Sarah Becket who faces a prison term for demonstating womens right to vote. The secone book is called The Blood upon the Rose in which a young Irish medical student Catherine O' Connell-Gort who fights for the end of the British rule in Ireland. She has to choose between her family and her lover (a young IRA volunteer), her country or her class. The third book is called In the Monmouth Summer in which young Ann Carter is torn by similar choice to Catherine O'Connell-Gort. It is set in 1685 where the Puritans rise up in revolt in the support of the Duke of Monmouth against King James II (the Catholic King of England) These are great books for fans of historical novels as they have been really well researched by the author, the characters are fictional but the events that they are involved in are all true, and the choices that all three women had to make were exactly the type of ones some women at that time would also have to face.

Entertaining and educational I generally enjoy the benefit of historical fiction because I can be entertained and learn about the tine period as well. That was the case with this book. This is actually three books that could have been sold separately. The first two books are entertaining and informational, but perhaps needlessly graphic. The third book is not as well written a d I just couldn't finish it. I can recommend Vicary's efforts here as he is a polished writer, but I can't provide a five Entertaining and educational I generally enjoy the benefit of historical fiction because I can be entertained and learn about the tine period as well. Tim Vicary, Women of Courage, three well written novels Each of the books were well written historical fiction with well developed characters and plot lines. The good, the bad and the ugly of life struggles during times of great struggle war and civil unrest, woven skillfully into the lives of his characters. A new author to add to my reading list.

The three novels in this collection are riveting. I enjoy strong female characters, and that is exactly the focus of all three stories. It was obvious the author had well researched these historical events. The attention to details brought them to life. I highly recommend all three books. The author's blurbs describe well the events and settings through which the stories are woven.

I read the Cat & Mouse story first which was o.k. I read the Monmouth Summer story next which was a little better. The Blood Upon the Rose story was so awful, I could not finish it which is saying something since I almost never put a book down until it is finished. I did not care about the characters and lost interest in the story early on. I am glad I got the Kindle addition free. I read the Cat & Mouse story first which was o.k. Daring history brought to life The story kept me enthralled all the way through the book. All three of these stories were very well written. Thanks for letting me enjoy history in these books.

The first two books were good enough to keep coming back to despite interruptions from my real life. The last book was terrible and I couldn't finish it. Which I hate, because I always finish books.

I just couldn't finish it,but I gave a valiant effort. These are not short stories, this is 3 overwritten full length novels that go on and on forever. They should have been half the length.

Good Read These were a set of short stories about so called strong women. I found some of them foolishly weak rather then strong but they were all historical fiction. Good plots.
