On top of that, this gift makes him almost every time to pass out and even give him nightmares. Not many people know about his 'talent', so he doesn’t have many close friends. He also knows many don’t believe in his ‘powers’. Even if he only hooks-up occasionally with different men, he secretly wants something special like his friend Eddie has. Draven is a private investigator. He doesn’t do relationship. All he matters to him is his brother Jude who’s in a coma for three years and his job. Plus, he’s not relationship material. Taylor and Draven met a long time ago when they kinda worked together on a case. Taylor remembers very well the arrogant detective and how he practically laughed at him thinking he’s just a fraud. Draven can’t deny his attraction for Taylor even if the man manages like no other to push all his buttons. After several encounters, they both realize they can’t stay away from each other so they start a relationship. At first for both of them it’s something casual, but as the time passes both men start to fall for each other and start to want more. I liked Taylor. He is sweet and he cares for his friends. He is simply a good man. Even if hates his gift, he is happy when he helps someone. Also, I really sympathize with him. While I liked Taylor, I had a hard time liking Draven’s character. He is such a douchebag in the beginning. He doesn’t seem to care about anyone’s feelings. I understood he suffers for his brother and I felt for him, but this was not a good reason for him to act like a prick. Later he eventually grow on me and in the end I liked how he was with Taylor. Taylor and Draven’s relationship progressed at a good pace, so nothing felt rushed which I really enjoyed it. Even if it was a little bit of insta-lust, I enjoyed the dynamic between them. However I can’t say I liked the sex scenes. They were rushed and pretty lame in my opinion. Overall, this was a sweet and sometimes a little fluffy enemies to lovers story with likeable characters and good enough plot.

3.5 Hearts Sight and Sinners is sweet, fluffy and light for the most part. It does have a bittersweet ending that nudged another half star out of me, cold-hearted wench that I am. I was hoping for a bit more of an edge to this enemies to lovers story. I thought perhaps they would wend up working together on a case, but that didn't go far nor did the Jude connection. So, there are no unforeseen plot twists that are disagreeable; the plot's fairly transparent. I thought perhaps they would wend up working together on a case, but that didn't go far nor did the Jude connection. So, there are no unforeseen plot twists that are disagreeable; the plot's fairly transparent. We were introduced to Taylor in book one, and his psychic abilities. Taylor wasn't in book one extensively, but I had a different sense of him and his personality than what appeared on the page here. He's much more of a hot head than I envisioned and he sure does pass out a lot. He meets Draven and they're instantly attracted to one another but have a history that puts them at odds. I dearly hoped this was going to lead to some angry sex. Sadly, there was only a tease of angry sex. They aren't even that rough with each other! I wanted their springing cocks and aching balls put to good use, but the steam was only in the mediocre range for me. There are several mentions of Draven "dominating" Taylor and "playing" that felt awkward and tacked on. I'm quite certain my perspective is somewhat skewed. For reasons. So, by all means, judge for yourselves. Mostly their relationship consists of arguing, temper tantrums then make-up sex, so I think I missed where the "love" took place or maybe that is their definition? Sight and Sinners was an easy read with some dramatics that weren't too heavy handed. I'm desperate at this point for Leslie's story. Leslie's story will be chock-a-block with dramatics and cross-dressing. I'm so ready you could stick a fork in me. I do hope this got a final edit prior to releasing because it certainly needed it. Everyone needs a little sweetness in their lives periodically and this will be satisfying for most in that regard. Recommend for beach reading. An ARC was provided in exchange for an honest review.

The book wasn't bad and it was easy to read, but I couldn't come to like Draven at all. Unlike Gideon in the first book who was grumpy and rude only at the beginning of his affair with Eddie, Draven is downright mean to Taylor weeks, if not months, after they have been together; every time he feels threatened, unsure or afraid, he strikes out by ordering Taylor to leave or demeaning him. The fact that he raised his hand to hit Taylor, even if that slap never landed, was the final nail on the coffin for me. The book was darker than the first one, the suspense took too little space compared to what I expected and there were plenty of paranormal elements (which I didn't mind). I would rate it with 3 stars, if I ended up liking Draven more than I did, but alas, he was too much of a jerk for me to forgive.

3.5 stars There were two things I really liked in this book. First, the whole psychic thing. Now, I'm not really into paranormal stuff, and I don't really care for shifters/werewolves/vampires e.t.c unless it is something recommended from a friend, but this book opened my eyes to one fact: I REALLY LIKE PSYCHICS!I guess this is my kind of paranormal and thank you Susan Mac Nicol for this. The other thing is Jude's "story. Jude is Draven's little brother. He was in the car accident that killed 3.5 stars There were two things I really liked in this book. First, the whole psychic thing. The other thing is Jude's "story. Jude is Draven's little brother. He was in the car accident that killed Draven's parents a few years ago and has been in a coma since. There is no hope for him to wake up but Draven refused to make the decision of switching the machines off. (view spoiler)[ When he finally decides to do so, it is a gut wrenching moment in the story and it broke my heart. Taylor has visions and sometimes he can connect and speak to Jude and therefore become a medium between the two brothers (hide spoiler)] Sadly, what I didn't really care about was the romance. It started great, like an enemies-to-lovers story. The lovers part came pretty fast, though, and was a little sudden. The sex scenes, although hot, seemed a bit off probably because, in my opinion, they took place at inappropriate times. For example, Taylor decides he wants to have sex first and wait till the next morning to talk about an important vision he had about a suicide case. There were some misunderstandings, more like hissy fits from both parts that most times were resolve with sex. Also, there is a time gap, from the first time they have sex (not full on) until a few weeks later. This is off page (including their first time together) and I needed this time to feel them forming a bond. There is also a mystery of shorts, the suicide case mentioned above (with the suicide victim being Draven's friend and Taylor's fuck buddy) , but it resolves relatively easily and it is a bit predictable. Overall it was a nice, easy read. Not really a fan of the romance here but the psycic part and the way miss Mac Nicol described it, saved the day for me. P.S Can I just say that I NEED LESLIE'S STORY NOW!!? He's the most interesting of the three friends and funny as hell. Plus...crossdressing.

Taylor is plagued with nightmares and Attacks when confronted with these sights, which his two best friends Eddie and Leslie know how to handle. Ok !! Now we meet Draven Samuels, sexy investigator for a high profile company in London, who might I say has no patience whatsoever for lies or anything that will waste his previous time that is until he meets up with Taylor. Taylor and Draven are drawn to each other through a fatal misfortune of a mutual friend, even though there is doubt about what Taylor can see, Draven being Draven cant make Taylor's life easy. Draven is going through a very tough time personally and is faced with a decision that is driving him crazy with guilt. I will not sugar coat this but you will need tissues in parts of this story, and yes Susan is brilliant giving us such an emotional meaningful story once again. The way Taylor and Draven work together and help each other is absolutely amazing and and had me glued to my seat I couldn't put this book down. I loved how we got to visit with Gideon and Eddie from Love You Senseless they paid a big part in bringing Draven and Taylor together, of course there is plenty of laughs also in here and lets us not forget the fiesty and sassy Leslie who makes a big impact also. So much happens in this book, I cannot begin to explain. I don't want to ruin it by giving away too much all I can say it's definitely on my top favorite list of reads. I will say that you will never look at a Pig Cookie Jar the same again after reading this book. One of my favorite Leslie Quotes: "I don't blame him for being distracted by that at his beck and call," he says silkily. I can see why he likes you so much." His eyebrows rose in question. " Is there room for one more when you guys play next?" Another quote I enjoyed between these guys : Taylor says: Draven and I have some plans today. Leslie grinned. "Do they involve you two locking yourselves in the bedroom and rutting like rabbits?" "No you idiot. We have to go visit someone for the case Draven is working on." He waved at Leslie. " Now be gone with you so we can get dressed. I think you've seen enough of my guy for one day." Ok enough of me because I can go on and on so go and one click this amazing Five (5) plus Star read now.

This is the next amazing read from Susan Mac Nicol, who is one of my automatic buys. She can take you on an amazing emotional rollercoaster ride along side the guys in this story. This story is at times, sad, angst-y, volatile, funny and happy with a bit of snark thrown in. And theres lots of hot sex. But the sex isn't what drives the story. She can take you on an amazing emotional rollercoaster ride along side the guys in this story. This story is at times, sad, angst-y, volatile, funny and happy with a bit of snark thrown in. And there’s lots of hot sex. But the sex isn't what drives the story. And caution, keep a hankie or tissue close by. I loved watching the relationship build between the two main characters. Taylor, who we meet in Love You Senseless (Men of London, book one) and Draven Samuels, a work driven man with a load of sadness in his past. Their journey to love isn't always easy, not when there is tragedy all along the path. But tragedy can make a relationship strong and it does in this case. I wasn't sure that Draven and Taylor would get there but they did. And I wasn’t sure I really liked Taylor at the start; he seemed a bit of a man whore, nothing but causal hookups. Then when you learn of his special ability, you can understand the why. And you can feel for him and what he has to cope with. Draven has his own issues; the tragedy from his past takes his focus. So between that and work, there’s no time for a relationship. The beauty of this book was watching the emotional growth between the two of them. I loved that Draven was there for Taylor when his special ability leaves him weak and vulnerable and scared that it would be too much for Draven. Also seeing Taylor help Draven with emotional support, being there for him, while Draven makes one of the hardest decisions you can ever make in life. And Draven finally letting him. This is book 2 in the series, but could be read as a stand alone. But I think that reading book 1 would give you a better understanding of the secondary characters. The secondary characters add a depth to this book, from Leslie’s swish to Eddie’s fierceness. Leslie, Eddie and Gideon are all introduced there. And after reading this book, I want Leslie’s story as well as Clay’s. So I’m crossing my fingers for both.

Draven life was his career and taking care of Jude, his brother. Nothing worth in the love department. Another chance encounter after tragedy struck... Initiated the changes in their own way. For Taylor learning to accept the gift that was given to him was not always easy and sometimes it was too much. He needed to understand that it was a way to be able to help even though the pain broke his heart at times. Draven needed a refuge and an answer to his need to be loved ... The need to belong to someone who will be there for him at the time of his most difficult decision. Both of them had finally understood that they were each other’s true destiny. Their own lives and their own trials became what got them together. You will laugh, cry and will find hope in the story of seeing and redemption of sins. I highly recommend reading this book ... You will be hook with all of the characters and will be happy so see some of our favorites back ... Complimentary copy received from the author in exchange for an honest review.

Man, this one made me weepy towards the end. Shocking! :p Anyways, here we have little Taylor, the psychic from the first book, and Draven, an asshole investigator. Draven is kind of brash and rude and slutty. Taylor is sweet and troubled and...slutty. You'd think with two slutty characters we'd get some smokin' hot smexing. We did get some but nothing like was alluded to in the beginning of the book when Taylor was thinking about how he loved a man to dominate him and Draven was talking about Man, this one made me weepy towards the end. I wasn't expecting to be completely absorbed by the perfectly structured dialogue, or by the events surrounding this book. The secondary characters are engaging, and each is written in their individual way. From the very first page, Susan engages the reader's attention and that feeling to constantly wanting to read on carries on throughout the whole book, we knew from the first book in the series that Taylor has psychic abilities, weather this seems like a curse to him, in retrospect is what leads him to meet Draven, Taylor is quiet and more reserved but by no means weak, he has an incredible personality but is constantly plagued by dreams of death which fully prevents him from opening up to everyone; enters Draven an Investigator with his outspoken and crude personality but with his own demons, what you get is an explosive combination. From the very first time they met sparks fly out of the pages, their interactions are so well described and they ooze passion, however, Draven is skeptical of Taylor's ability but it will only take the death of someone closer to both of them for him to realise the true gift he's been given, but allowing Taylor to work close to him can only lead for their relationship to become more than a professional one, and this doesn't sit well with Draven as he hides a painful secret, one that he thinks can tarnish everyone he gets closer too. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book, I laughed and cried and sighed and screamed, it awakened so many emotions in me, I can honestly say not a lot of books have had that power. Susan writes from the heart and with such flawless ease that makes each story so special, definitely this one has been for me. I can't wait for the next instalment in the series, I am sure Leslie will be fun to read! Sight And Sinners is a fast paced, romantic, captivating and a total page turner of a story! 5 SINFULLy bright STARS... Isalovesbooks

The Blogger Girls Draven and Taylor started off on really bad footing, in more ways than one, but once these two got it right, it was magical. Draven is a skeptical and tough as nails investigatorand he has no time for Taylor, a beautiful man who pushes every one of his erotic buttons, but no, Taylor had to be a phony medium who preys on people at their weakest moments and claims to see dead people. Draven couldnt have been more wrong, and from the beginning dug himself into a huge hole. These The Blogger Girls Draven and Taylor started off on really bad footing, in more ways than one, but once these two got it right, it was magical. Draven is a skeptical and tough as nails investigator…and he has no time for Taylor, a beautiful man who pushes every one of his erotic buttons, but no, Taylor had to be a phony medium who preys on people at their weakest moments and claims to see dead people. Draven couldn’t have been more wrong, and from the beginning dug himself into a huge hole. These two have a long road to travel, with lots of issues affecting them both, and coming from many angles. Not easy, but so worth it. This story is in-depth and solid. It encompasses a wide range of emotions and takes the reader on a trip inside the lives of these two amazing men, and also the guys from book one, as well. I especially loved Leslie; Eddie and Taylor’s room mate from the first book, and was so hoping that they were each other’s love interest… at first, but I easily fell for Draven and accepted that Leslie and Taylor could only be friends. I still need a Leslie story though…he is simply awesome. Many will not be happy with Draven, at first, he had to grow on me too, but you have to understand his past and pain before you can move forward and root for him. But, when you do, you fall hard for him, too. It was his side story that made me cry, and I cried so hard at the end…you will know why when you get to that part, trust me. Ripped me to threads…and I knew it was coming, but it didn’t stop me from trailing ugly tears from my puffy eyes and down my reddened cheeks. So folks, we have another winner from this incredibly talented author, and I eagerly await book three, and hopefully, it will be all Leslie!

Grab a couple boxes of tissue this one is a sad one. Sight and sinners covers a couple very serious topics. One: Draven is an undercover agent and seen a lot. He has a tough exterior and is hard to get to know. He also likes to fool around and his high libido gets him in a lot of trouble. He also has a family secret that haunts him. Two: Taylor is a physic but his ability is only linked to people close to him making it worse. At first Draven doesn’t believe in Taylor’s talents but soon he sees firsthand what Taylor can do, but when he finds out Taylor has the answer to a very serious decision he has to make he has trouble dealing with it. Will he take Taylors Message seriously or will it destroy anything between them. There is a lot of lies, deceit and secrets in this story as well as angst. One thing I like so much about Susan Mac Nichols is that her stories deal with very real issues that can happen to anyone, then are spun into a very strong, powerful story. This story deals with family tragedy, harsh decisions and suicide. She mixes it with sexy men, very hot sex and some mystery and intrigue to take the edge off. Every time I read a new name I couldn’t help but wonder is this the next book? If you like spies, angst, tearjerkers, not so easy relationships, psychics, fun characters, and very hot man-sex this is for you.

Conclusion? She lived up to the expectations the first book in the series created! Taylor doesn't get too close to people, even though he wants something more. He's got so much to offer and so much to give. He is a kind man, who cares for those around him. Those who are close to him, as well as those who only stay in his life for a short period in time. But his psychic abilities, can be a gift as well as a curse. Draven is used to getting what he wants. And doesn't have a problem expressing his Conclusion? He's rough, impulsive, selfish, basically an a**hole. Or at least it might appear so.. But if you take a closer look at this irritating, frustrating, impatient and judgemental man you'll see a different side to him. As the story evolves, they are able to support and comfort each other when some hard decisions has to be made. In this book you'll find love, despair, grief, and understanding to name a few. I love Susan's books, but did she manage to live up to the expectations? Thats a big fat YES! in my book! Looking forward to see what she brings to the table next!

Im really enjoying the Men of London series. The first book grabbed me due to the original characters. I loved the bad tempered and slightly aggravating, Gideon, in particular. The second book, Sight and Sinners, had a unique feel all of its own. I was drawn to the complex and heartbreaking situation Draven found himself in. Taylor and Draven are a compelling couple, each being a strong character in their own right. Taylors special gift is handled in a way that is very realistic. I could feel his pain as he coped with the visions that come to him. The relationship between the two men progresses at a good pace, in parallel with the mystery that needs to be solved, with a nice dash of sex thrown in. It was also great to see glimpses of Eddie and Gideon from book one, Love You Senseless. So check out the blurb below to find out more about Sight and Sinners. I highly recommend this book (and the series) so give it a go! Don’t forget to enter the giveaway to win books from another one of Susan’s great series.

It is a very well written journey with Draven and Taylor and will leave you smiling through tears!

Wow what a beautiful but emotional story this one was, and, yet again totally AMAZING !! We originally met Taylor in the first book, he was one of Eddie's flatmates who helped Eddie with his "special talent" which he feels is a curse as it's caused him a lot of problems. In this one it brings him and Draven together but also pushes them apart at times as Draven has already met Taylor when his "talent" was needed to help in a case he was working on. But any scepticism is soon forgotten when he Wow what a beautiful but emotional story this one was, and, yet again totally AMAZING !! received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads. I demolished this book in less than one day. We met Taylor in Love You Senseless which is book one of the Men of London series. Taylor is a psychic, he has been since he was a little boy. It plagues his life as he has no control over it. Draven doesn't believe in Taylors gift and he is a bit of a knob about it. I really enjoyed Taylor and Draven's relationship. The most difficult things in life are worth fighting for. Hot and emotional! Both main characters were really likeable with strong personalities. Often in this genre, one of the leads is bigger, stronger, more dominant etc, but in this case Draven and Taylor are beautifully matched.......a real pleasure to read. (It was great to see Gideon and Eddie again too.) When do we get Leslie's story?!?

4.5 stars Another great sequel, some parts were a little bit sad and you might need some tissues. In this sequel, the paranormal aspect is very much part of the story, a real treat, as I love that kind. This author is really showing me what a was missing, very enjoyable.

I finished and feel gutted. I cried like a baby. 😥 So sad. Draven kind of redeemed himself. By the end I didn't hate. Would never want to be friends with him. On the other hand Taylor I wanted to hug him and just wrap him in bubble wrap. I adored him
