I bought this book while taking my first illustration class this past semester. I am hoping to do some more cartoon-like illustrations in the future, and I like how the author of this book creates such cute, expressive characters with such simple drawings. I didn't find the story or tracing portions of the book nearly as helpful as the "small hint" sections. I particularly liked the ones that showed multiple variations on a theme (e.g., different ways to draw a window or a tiara, etc) - I wish I I bought this book while taking my first illustration class this past semester.
