These poems were composed while having drinks downtown, enjoying the college-town local nightlife often with a typewriter and sometimes with an ink-pen and a Moleskine notebook. I let myself go, and I wrote a few gems and a whole lot of crap. I have chosen the gems and applied Hemingway’s advice: “write drunk, edit sober”. **OBTAINED: FREE on iBooks Store** No. I'm very sorry but no. This was not inspiring or even thought provoking for a work claiming to be "poetry". Just ramblings of a drunk, I suppose. I know a lot of people, mostly addicts, who fancy their creativity is magically enhanced while intoxicated but usually the opposite is true. I'm not intending to sound judgey, or to diss his personal expression of art, but perhaps the authors writing/art would be better if he were sober? I dare say so... I'm usually very easy going about poetry, I can appreciate something in all of it. I think the poet here might have had a little too much to drink and crossed the line between genius and nonsense. There are nuggets, but you have to dig very deep to find them. Mostly cliche musings on art, music, and creative creation. Very short (5 min read). And free, so what do you have to lose? “Art is a gift if you enjoy it encourage it but always at least say thank you.”

It's a nice insight of how he feels about his art and that's always something I can appreciate. It's a nice insight of how he feels about his art and that's always something I can appreciate.

A few nice moments, but too much of what felt like filler in an already brief read. Can be completed in a matter of minutes though, so come to your own conclusion!

My favorite line was the comparison between a guitar and a typewriter ... and the two instruments being a different kind of paintbrush for a different kind of art. I do believe everyone needs a voice, and sometimes they just need to find their way to share it.

I found it free on the Apple book store, and all I have to say is....what? There are like 2 good poems in there. It’s exactly what you think it is.
