It also covers the extension which joins the Camino Francés in Astorga and the Camino to Finisterre and Muxía. It includes the following information: - Notes on the towns and villages you'll pass through - Route descriptions and distances - Pilgrim accommodation - Services: shops, restaurants, banks, etc. The information is based on my experience walking this route and is regularly updated based on feedback from pilgrims currently walking it. It is designed to be a practical guide providing you with the information you need on your walk. This latest update from April 2013 contains route maps for the Vía de la Plata and the Camino Sanabrés, urban maps for major cities and information on new pilgrim hostels which opened in late 2012 and early 2013 in Guillena, Monesterio, Zafra, Torremejía, Valdesalor, Aldeanueva del Camino, El Cubo del Vino, Peñacaballera and Olleros de Tera.
