An addictive combination of Oz and Alice in Wonderland. The book is so much fun, and exactly the sort of thing I would have loved when I was a kid. This author not only understands what kids like, she also understands that the best fantasy is elegant and carefree rather than heavy and pompous. :) The book sort of reminds me of a really super good Phineas and Ferb. :P The best episode is the Nice Kingdom. Trust me, this area is truly exciting and meaningful. A beautiful example of cliques in schoo An addictive combination of Oz and Alice in Wonderland. The Nice Kingdom is what makes the book really worth re-reading. :) I guess it may be true what people keep saying...the Brits write the best fiction. :)
