This book "Big Nate Makes a Splash" is a very good book. I had a lot of connections as I read it. It made me think of another book that I am also reading called "Middle school." They both talk about kids who don't like school and have very bad grades. These books all told me about the life of a middle schooler. I can also connect it to myself because I didn't have good grades, so as these characters. It is a very entertaining book, but there wasn't a lot of deep themes to this book. It was a good and funny comic for kids. It was great but not that funny but who said a book has to be funny to be good.

Great book I choose this rating because it is really the best books ever. Lincoln Peirce has a comedy relatable to Jeff Kinney's Diary of a Wimpy kid. This is great for ages 8-12

This book consists of a collection of different comic strips. I loved the first comic strip which is about Nate questioning the validity of a Math question. He feels unrealistic and the teacher fulfils his realistic request in a different way. He is very witty and has a lot of sarcastic jokes.
