This is a beautifully presented little padded hardback copy book which is just lovely to hold and read. I enjoyed reading about the Saints and the background information on each explaining their various roles. Other parts if this book however, left me a little overwhelmed as it is not what I expected and, I think it would be far more relevant and specific to devout practitioners of the Catholic faith. I can appreciate what a lovely book this would be for someone so invested though, and have decided to re-gift my copy to a worthy friend. *Many thanks to the author and publishers for gifting me this copy to read and review.

I received this as a gift from Goodreads. Perhaps I misread the description of this book, as I guess I expected it to be more of a reference to the Bible for Inspiration and Daily Guidance. However, it is a good reference book if you are looking for a list of Saintly Sisters and their birth and death years. To really learn anything about the Saints that you don't already know....you would have to do a lot of research on your own by looking up each one a seeing why they are really considered saint I received this as a gift from Goodreads. I received this book for free through Goodreads First Reads. I myself am not an overly religious person, therefore I find some of the challenges a too much for me. However, I do like the stories behind these great women and the inspiring words from they shared.

This is a beautiful book. It is a daily devotional that is based upon the Catholic saints. With full disclosure, I was raised Catholic, but am no longer Catholic, so I had a background in this but do not actively practice the principles. With that said, this book is still really enjoyable. Many people enjoy reading about the backgrounds of the saints as they are still really interesting people whose backgrounds of faith have defined them. The book is very well-bound and aesthetically pleasing. M This is a beautiful book. It is a daily devotional that is based upon the Catholic saints. This is a great coffee table book, but would also make a nice nightstand book. I received this book for free from Goodreads in exchange for my honest review.

This is a daily devotional, so I confess, I haven't read it all yet. I received the book through a Goodreads giveaway. As a Protestant, I was interested in the lives of those the author considered saints, and how these godly women could help my own walk with God. The devotions are brief and interesting and include prayers and ideas for our daily lives. It's pretty basic as a devotional, nothing in-depth or really challenging, but nice for a little dose of inspiration over your morning coffee or This is a daily devotional, so I confess, I haven't read it all yet. I received this book through a Goodreads giveaway. I am not Catholic but have enjoyed reading about other women of faith. This is a daily devotion so I am not nearly finished, but enjoying reading it each day. I have already learned about women that I have never heard of. The author ( and her sister) has done a good job researching the women for this book.

I used this book throughout 2017. The book contains information about a female saint for each day. There are old favorites but also newer saints to inspire and encourage. Each saint has a snippet of information, then an inspiring quote from the saint or Bible and then a challenge. Highly recommend.

Brief description of the life of a saint for each day of the year, all of them women. Each page includes an inspiring quote, from the saints themselves if available, or from the Bible, and a challenge or suggestion for some action to take based on the saint's life. Thought provoking, encouraging, uplifting. Brief description of the life of a saint for each day of the year, all of them women.
