BEST BOOK EVER!!!! Oh man! Well done Rachel! Can I just tell you how much I LOVE YOU RIGHT now!! This was perfect! The perfect ending to a series. And let me tell you I think it is much harder to end a series good then it would be start one! For example Hunger games (my favorite) but Mocking jay(last book in the series) -ruined! And the newest the Wolfsbane book (Bloodrose) that was worst then Mocking jay! Anyway my point is you can start a awesome series but if you aren't careful, creative, wel BEST BOOK EVER!!!! Oh man! Keeps getting better! Endless Magic was such a fun audio! However, Eden was a bit annoying in this book. She's being held captive in Lucan's castle, aka the KING/aka Kiran's dad. Eden's pretending to be in love with Kiran, which was annoying because she didn't even need to pretend. Everyone already knew that those two have always loved each other. It just sucked monkey balls because Jericho just had to break up with her because he knew that she was still in love with Kiran. It broke my heart. Thi Keeps getting better! This whole love triangle thing finally came to end and that's probably the best thing that happened in this book. I hate those love shapes because she just kept flip-flopping about who she loved and I was getting so annoyed. Thank god it ended. Besides all of that, the ending was really good. I didn't really expect any of that stuff to happen. It was definitely bittersweet and I'm kind of excited to dive into the 5th book now.

Oh...what a frigging roller coaster. I was cursing Rachel (In a nice and completely sweet way) at some parts and then jumping up and down and messaging my friend who hooked me on the series to begin with! This book was good. I am so happy with the way things ended. It was a very full-circle type of book and though it didn't end the way I thought it would, I was very happy and giddy by the end. I'm going to miss Jericho, Eden and Kiran so much. This was my #1 book series of 2011 and it finished off with me a happy girl. 5 Amazing, but sad cause it's over stars from me!

I loved the first three books in this series! I loved Kiran and I loved Jericho and I really liked Eden. I inhaled this series like it was air, I enjoyed discovering this new world of immortals with Eden as well as her struggle to fit in. Even with all that I have to say that this book was a bit of a let down, I expected the author to give us more hints of what the resistance was up to! What were their goals.... in short I expected the resistance to be more that just some fuzzy back drop! I also e I loved the first three books in this series! I wanted her to be more.(P.S. I know she healed ppl and rescued herself but she did that in the first three books it was not a real surprise this time round). I finished the book in one night and I enjoyed it but I was left dissatisfied. I really thought Eden had great potential than what was her final destiny. In the end I felt like it was the men Kiran, Avalon and Jericho that did all the hard work, they are the ones who grew emotionally and shouldered the brunt of the resistance. I found myself wanting to hear their perspective more than Edens. Eden changing clothes and getting Lucan mad was entertaining but it was not enough for me as a reader. It kinda left her character looking a bit insipid. So I recommend that you read the series is a fun ride and a great emotional roller coaster. But the final chapter I expected more......

Oh the epic conclusion to a great series, but was it epic enough? Unfortunately, it wasn't 5 stars worthy epic, but it was still very good. The pacing, the story, the characters, everything kept my attention much the same way as the first three books. I loved the resolution with Jericho, it was exactly how I wished it could be. Eden, however, disappointed me somewhat. I felt like her maturity level went downhill from the first pages of the book. Eden, however, disappointed me somewhat. I felt like her maturity level went downhill from the first pages of the book. I really liked her in the third book, but here I was just annoyed with her most of the time. (view spoiler)[Even if it was address in the book, her constant proclaiming of love towards Jericho felt exactly like she was trying to convince herself that she loved him. In the third book it felt real, but in Endless Magic if felt forced and as a way to NOT admit her feelings for Kiran. I couldn't understand why, if she already figured out that these kind of feelings do not disappear overnight, she was so set on believing that there wasn't even a TINY chance that she still loved him. It's only been few month, not years for crying it out loud! She didn't get over him in the previous book, instead just started to get over him, so why did she suddenly was over him NOW? (hide spoiler)] Kiran had grown on me after first few chapters, but until then I wanted to slap him and yell "It's called communication! If you want her to do something, explain WHY you want her to do it!". Oh, and the constant "I love you's" were making me barf because most of them did not feel genuine. (view spoiler)[I also had a problem with the idea that Immortals had to marry young and then it was expected for them to have kids right away. Ok, maybe not all Immortals had to do it, but the royal family. Who knows? But it irks me big time when a wife was referred to as a "mother of my children". Is that all she is? She is not a person anymore, but instead just a mother of your children? I had a hard time believing that Eden will be ok with that, considering she grew up as a human, with her aunt who wasn't married, didn't have children, and didn't even want marriage. Maybe Immortals were all brainwashed to think that, but shouldn't Eden have at least some hard time with the prospect of getting married at 17 and probably having a baby 9 month later? This is my personal pet peeve (not do much at the book but at life in general), but when a guy gets his feelings hurt, or his pride, it's ok for him to be all brooding hero. People understand, even make excuses for him for acting like an ass. But a woman is expected to forgive and forget within moments, her "ass" behavior is not excused but instead accused of being selfish, or something along those lines. (hide spoiler)] I was surprised at the lack of sneakiness from the characters, who spoke about all their plans and Resistance anywhere and anytime they wanted, without even thinking that someone might overheard. In fact, why no one overheard anything? The final battle scene was just ok, and felt somewhat rushed. After everything ended, I didn't have that satisfied feeling I usually get after the bad guy is finally beaten. (view spoiler)[Shapeshifters never made an appearance at the final battle, for all the searching that was done for them. And really, Lucan had absolutely NO idea that Kiran was not on his side? Kinda stupid for someone who was supposedly very smart. (hide spoiler)] Would I recommend this book? Of course! If only to read how Jericho handled the situation, which I will say was probably my favorite part of the book. Just like the last time, I say GO Jericho!

I mean, we all know that the antagonist had to die at some point - because that's all the book is really about. Like you're on the last couple pages - Lucan dies? Uhm, FINALLY! Then seriously? I know from the first book that - okay it'll always be Kiran and Eden... But then the 2nd and 3rd book - I totally thought it'd be different. Eden and Jericho would end up together! But, NOPE. We end up with Kiran again. Honestly? I was disappointed in that fact. I loved him. My Prince. My soul mate.. Oh gosh, go cry me a river. That was so sappy! When there was that phrase Go big or go home - I literally rolled my eyes. Ah, I don't know why I was so peeved out by that one thing. Well, there were a couple other things as well. But, ugh! I was so frustrated with this book! The whole antsy romance with Kiran and Eden. Then Eden finally gives in! Like, whaat?! That's not supposed to happen. I mean, Kiran did sorta betray you Eden. And then we get that whole conflict and arguments sections, then omg - mooches and kisses. WHAT?! The whole blue whisp thing got a little bit too relied on after a while, and there wasn't anything new (magic wise) that happened in the fourth book. It's the last book - I'd expect something superb and BAM, amazing. But this book just didn't do it for me......... If I knew, I'd have ended it at the 3rd book - even with the cliffhanger. I'd be SO much more satisfied - I can't even express what I'm feeling in words right now.

Review: I loved this book and found that it is the best in the series. It made my heart pound and brought tears to my eyes. The growth of the characters throughout the series has been amazing, but this book will make you fall in love with them completely. Eden is a total bad-ass in this book, but she still has her whiny moments. Hers is a journey to know herself and her heart and be able to admit the truth to herself. She has to figure out her true intentions and motivations to fully understand her role in the Resistance. She also has to follow her heart to find which man it truly belongs to. "You are everything to me, my sun, my moon, the air I breathe. Nothing exists except you. I love you.” I found myself very torn between Kiran and Jericho. Throughout this series, it has been a roller coaster. Jericho is patient and devoted and adores Eden. Kiran is ever present and unfaltering in his love for Eden. They are both pretty amazing, but in the end, the right choice is made. All of the characters are great in this series. I think that the author does an amazing job developing them in great depth. You know them completely, and their emotions become yours. This series has been amazing and I am sad that it is over. I am excited to read the spin-off books though. This is definitely one that I will add to my top favorites! READ IT!

The series has gotten better as it has progressed, despite Eden's annoying character. This book has a lot more of Eden's fickle feelings as she goes back and forth between liking Kiran and not, and between loving Jericho and loving Kiran. It's ridiculous, she's ridiculous. The good news is that there is complete resolution at the end of the book! YAY!!! In fact, I am so hopeful that we might get to drop Eden's POV completely in the next book (which is supposed to be about Avalon) that I am actually anxious to start it just to find out!

WOW!!!! I am equally saddened and overjoyed at the conclusion of this series!!! Saddened that it has come to an end and I have to say goodbye to this magical world that Rachel Higginson has brilliantly created, but overjoyed that I finally got some resolve in how my favorite character's lives concluded. I loved Eden's journey throughout this series, her ability to adapt and self preserve, as well as her self growth since the series started was amazing!!! This whole series I found myself struggling to decide on who I wanted Eden to end up with and when Eden finally made her decision, it was definitely the right one. After all the facts were laid out, principles were defined, intentions made clear, characters brought into the open, it was such a no brainer that I literally found myself smiling like the Cheshire Cat, Eden got her man!! I loved how all the subplots tied together in the end, Amory and the Resistance, Lucan and his tyrany, Talbott and Lilly, Sebastian, the Titans, even Seraphina...it all played together so well I couldn't put the book down!!! I found myself reading at the drive thru, at work, waiting on line at the pharmacy, basically I was a shell of myself while engrossed in this book!!! Eden finds herself a prisoner at the Citadel, the home of King Lucan and Prince Kiran. Lucan forces Eden to get her magic back from Avalon or else he will kill an innocent prisoner for every day she is without her powers. She is also forced by Lucan to pretend to be in love with Kiran in an attempt to convince the people that they are a happy couple pending their upcoming nuptials. There are plenty of subplots including Eden's parents, Amory and the Resistance's fight to overcome Lucan, Eden and her relationship with Jericho, a whirlwind trip to Paris, plenty of romance, an encore performance by the new and improved Seraphina, some entertaining and witty banter between Eden and Kiran, and some heavy flirting, all while these young ones find a way to create anarchy and overthrow the tyrany of Lucan! This book has it all, I was laughing, crying, and cursing out loud at the stubborness of Eden! I definitely recommend this book to YA lovers everywhere!! Rachel Higginson created a hit, this was my favorite in the series, because of the growth of all the characters, but the entire series was amazing!!!! Anyone reading this review who hasn't read this series yet should start from the beginning and pick up her first one, Reckless Magic, The Star-Crossed Series Book One, and it's free so there's nothing to lose!!! You won't regret it!!! Trust me!!

All I can say is this series was Incredible. Talk about knowing the characters, everything seemed so real. Like you were virtually there in the vivid places Higginson created. You felt what they felt. Anger, sorrow, and happiness. This woman can write. I look forward to reading more of what she develops. I highly, highly, highly recommend this series. I have a thing for finishing a series no matter how crappy the story is (and yes, I'm hitting myself on the head for actually starting such book). But this one, I can't... I don't... Honestly this book was amazing. The thrill of what will happen next was so beyond amazing, it totally captivated my attention and had me begging for more. As soon as I reached the books end I was immediately devastated that there was no more to read. Saying goodbye to Kiran and Eva is definitely going to be hard and I feel they will always have a place in my heart now, but I’m glad to see everything worked out in the end.

3.5 stars 🌟 I feel like this book could have been a lot shorter, and still could have been a great ending to this part of the series. Phwoarrrrr. This book was awesome. I loved it. It is going to live on my bestest-ever shelf. I thought the first book was good, hated the second book, went nuts for the third book but this fourth and final book was everything I was hoping for. After Eden sacrificed herself for the safety of her brother at the end of Fearless Magic, I knew she was in for an especially rough time, and that’s saying something because shes always having a rough time. Eden is now a prisoner in the towers of the Roman Phwoarrrrr. Eden is now a prisoner in the towers of the Romanian Citadel and the forced fiancé of Prince Kiran. A pawn for King Lucan and Kiran to use as they please, and that they do. Unfortunately Eden has no choice but to play along and act the part of doting fiancé to save the lives of every prisoner kept but also in the hope that she will be able to eliminate the Kendrick line once and for all when the time comes. Eden was determined in her convictions and her body and magic strong. She continually reminded herself of her purpose and the reasons for her imprisonment. I didn’t give her much credit going into this book, I thought that she would forget Jericho the second Kiran tried to charm her, but the commitment she had to him was present in all of her thoughts and actions and I commend her for that. So so much happened throughout this book, I can’t possibly break it down for you. Eden, Avalon and the members of the Resistance had an impossible task ahead and to find out if they managed to overcome all odds and succeed you will have to read it and find out. All I can tell you is that I am proud of Eden. She spent so much of the previous books forcing herself to be courageous that she actually became it. Eden put everyone and everything before herself. Yes, she had times where she broke down and felt defeated before she even began, but what 17 year old wouldn’t? She faced racism and tyranny on a daily basis. The King gave me the heebie jeebies. He was a sandwich short of a picnic that guy. I loved Sebastian (a lot!), Talbot, Amelia and even came to like Seraphina. So many great characters to love! Eden was selfless and this book was a perfect showcase of that. So many of her beliefs were tested throughout and as difficult as it was she took it in her stride. I teared up a few places throughout this series, and it was usually during the short reunions of her and Avalon or Lilly or Jericho. Never really just for Eden. Whilst reading these sentences I actually sobbed out loud for her. ‘I had been lucky enough in this last year to have two great, life changing loves. Neither one had worked out and I was a broken, shell of a person because of it. But still, I knew what it was to love someone and be loved in return. And that was a blessing.’ The conclusion of this book was brilliant. I wasn’t left wondering what could have been done differently nor if she made the right decision. This is one book I will say, the choice was never there. It was always going to be this way and I loved the way everything unfolded. I would love to know more about how the changes came about and if she or her kids kids had twins and details on whether Avalon and the rest of the Resistance found their great love, but I am content to say that even though I had always thought I had hoped for a different conclusion, I loved the way it ended. Well done Ms Higginson. I adore you.

All the frustration paid off, every thread of this series came together & it all delivered, big time. So first off I’ll admit I may have changed my mind about Kiran. I hate to say this after my non-stop Kiran hating rants over the least three books, but he did start to break through my hard exterior. He’s was clearly hurting & struggling with his guilt, trying to do the right thing. I was conflicted though, I still wouldn’t be the the forgiving type until all his past bad behaviour was explained... & then that whole series of events that followed the ‘walk away look’ situation happened & I was officially broken & in love with Kiran. Starting with her outburst at the other couples, leading to his realisation that he wasn’t making the progress he thought he was, she’s still got this whole internal conflict going on, she doesn’t feel safe & can’t let go of what happened in the past. So he takes her to the resistance & to Jericho, despite his feelings, just to make her happy & feel safe. Her stubbornness to see that Kiran loves her is both frustrating & endearing. I know I would be just as stubborn. Learning about his involvement with the resistance wasn’t a surprise but it was nice. I was frustrated at first that she was out of the loop & even Avalon is helping to keep Kiran’s secrets but we learn that he demanded that it remain a secret. She of course learns about this through invading his mind... “In his mind, he didn’t deserve being thought of kindly. If he was going to earn back my forgiveness, it would be as before he lost it. It would be as the same man I fell in love with. Only he wasn’t the same man. He had evolved into someone even better than that man. A selfless man, willing to sacrifice himself not just for me, but for the Kingdom that he believed deserved independence.” I’m all like *swoon* I love Kiran! Than BAM she’s reacting to their mind meld by getting all kissy & then breaks his heart by saying they were his feelings and that she doesn’t feel that way. She was delusional. So stubborn. Then even when she admits her feelings to herself she can’t take that step, she doesn’t want to be the one to make the move; “If his love captured me, than I could always, even silently, blame him for our relationship”. That stubbornness again, I love it. The ending of this book is very pleasing. I thought it went a bit quickly. It kinda snuck up on me out of nowhere & then it was done but at the same time it was very satisfying. This was an incredible series. So much fun with its frustration, stubbornness, angst & hardship. I nightly recommend.

I can’t really say what I think without spoilers, so here goes, spoilers ahead: Loved Talbott and Lilly, and Sebastian and Seraphina, although I wish Sebastian had to chase her a bit more and that we could have gotten more from that storyline. I wish we got more of the boys and the resistance. They seemed like they were doing awesome stuff, but all we knew about was Eden’s story, who seriously is the most uninvolved person ever. How does she never know anything that’s actually happening with anyone ever? 😂 I just saw the next book is from Avalon’s perspective and I’m super excited about it. This book was more action packed and more fun than the others, I especially loved when Eden got kidnapped and kicked butt again. Overall this series was quick and fun, full of teenage angst and love, and got better and better with each book!

I really wanted to give this book five stars, but there were some things missing that I really wanted to see happen that never did. Early in the books there is this big build up of what happens to 2 Immortals who make love and their magic gets shared and you are always waiting for that to happen with Kiran and Eden and yet it never gets fulfilled. In fact, I would liked to have seen that happen and that be what brings down Lucan, but hey it is not my story to tell. I guess I fell in love with so many of the characters that I wanted to hear more about them in this book. Please don't get me wrong, I loved the book and I am so glad that Kiran and Eden found their way back to each other, but I just felt things were missing. Perhaps Rachel felt rushed with everyone forcing her to finish the book. Whatever the reason I just wanted more. Very sad to see the story end...I was in love with Kiran to the end!

I really liked this book series, however by the final book you would think that Eden would remember that when she gets a little cold, she can just use her magic to warm herself up without having to be reminded. This was just one of the few things about Eden that irritated me throughout the book. I found myself constantly rolling my eyes at her inner dialogue and her constantly reminding herself that she no longer loved Kiran, but that she was totally in love with Jericho. The ending rushed by too quickly and the final showdown was anticlimactic. If the length of the book was the reason for glossing over the final scene then perhaps some of the less important pages of whining could have been left out so the ending could have had a bit more bulk to it. With all that said - I liked the book and loved the series and would recommend it to anyone wanting a good, clean paranormal book.

I'll start off with what I didn't like about Endless Magic. As much as I love this series, I have to admit that it has its own down side. So I'm gonna start with the things I didn't like about this book so that if you come to the good things about this book part, you'll forget all about the bad ones altogether. First and foremost, I cannot understand why Eden can't seem to figure out obvious things. I mean, from the first moment that Avalon and Kiran seems to be having hushed conversation all on I'll start off with what I didn't like about Endless Magic. I mean, from the first moment that Avalon and Kiran seems to be having hushed conversation all on their own, I knew there was something going on (I won't tell you what that is though, that'll be a total spoiler). Secondly, I can't figure out why Eden decided that now is the right time to show these romantic feelings of her to Jericho. In the first books, she still can't seem to get over Kiran eventhough Jericho was right there in front of her and obviously offering himself to her. So why oh why does Eden decides now is the best time to throw herself at Jericho every time they see each other? (view spoiler)[And what's with all the "I love you(s)"? I found most of them were insincere and somewhat forced. (hide spoiler)] And lastly, I think it would have been better if the newly recruited Resistance members would have been kept secret instead of proclaiming it to the whole world or something. It would have filled up our minds with a lot of intrigue and questions about who to trust and who's not or who's the enemy and who's on the good side. And I would have expected a more intense battle between the Resistance and Lucan. I mean, so many have suffered and there was so much pain for everyone, so it would've been nice to witness a seriously kickass epic battle. Anyway, enough with all that. The good parts? I seriously had a hard time disengaging myself from this book. I so very much wanted to finish it the moment I laid eyes on it but then when I did finish it, I so want more! I don't even know where to begin. This book is just freakin' awesome that there's no other way to put it. Endless Magic is much more intense than the first three books. We are introduced to a lot of new characters with varying personas. And even though some of them plays just a small part in the book, you'd surely love 'em all! And then let's not forget our dear Sebastian. I didn't know he could be even more amazing than he already is! He's fun but very unpredictable. He is so very different from when we first met him in Hopeless Magic. He is just so very adorable! And then we have hot Jericho. It's no denying that he's a real gentleman and a good guy. I mean, after all that have happened, he did a very good job of how he came to terms with everything and how he accept. Now that's what I'm talking about. Oh and how could I forget Kiran? I cannot get enough of him!(haha) He's just amazing and I think he has grown so much compared to how he was in the first books. He's still willing to do anything for Eden but now he's determined to do it in the right way and make a change. He's very determined and there's this whole other side of him we haven't seen before. And the romance between him and Eden? It's phenomenal! Eventhough they keep on telling each other and other people that they have moved on, it's obvious that they haven't. And I love it whenever Eden and Kiran have their moments - you'll never know what to expect. And there were some moments that I think Eden is just convincing herself to not have anymore feelings for Kiran because her heart tells her otherwise (even if she's not even aware about it). And I especially love it when they have their oh-so-sweet moments. Endless Magic has so much in store for us. It has its own twists and unexpected moments. You'll even come to love Seraphina and see the good side of her. It will make your heart skip-a-beat, make you smile and laugh and it will definitely pull you in, wishing that you were an actual part of the book. This is a delight to read! It's another masterpiece of Ms. Higginson that'll leave you asking for more. This is an absolute must-read. "You are everything to me, my sun, my moon, the air I breathe. Nothing exists accept you. I love you." "There is nothing a man will not risk when he falls in love, isn't that true?"

I truly, honestly do not know where to start. This series had me so tightly pulled in so many directions I couldn't tell you which end was up. But trust me, it was a good thing. When a book can have that effect on you, actually all four books, you know it is a winner. What did I love about Endless Magic? Well for starters I loved Eden's character so very much. It's kind of sad...they grow up so quickly. *sniff sniff* And I loved Kiran's character. Yeah I know I have went on and on before about how much I hate him, but he really is a great character. Throughout this book I started liking him more and more through his actions. Now whether Eden ends up with him or Jericho is not for me to answer. Because I will say that Jericho is pretty stinkin’ awesome too. I also loved how Endless Magic played out. I liked the whole idea of Eden being forced to live with Kiran at the castle. Because if it wasn’t for that time she wouldn’t have been able to realize half the stuff she did while there if she was off in some remote part of the world trying to figure out ways to bring King Lucan down. Watching old feelings emerge and new ones spark…eeep! I lost it. It was fun seeing it happen right before my very eyes. What did I not like about Endless Magic? I think the only problem I had was just the way the whole ‘war/battle’ went down. Not so much that I didn’t like it, but it came off as kind of rushed. Like it started one second and then over the next. But will that stop me from rating it 5 glorious stars? No stinkin’ way! This book earned every single star. With Endless Magic I was captivated until the very end and had the biggest grin on my face when I turned off my nook. Rachel did an amazing job tying up the series and giving us readers a couple to fall in love with all over again. Of course, now that I have officially made it out alive from this series (with my blood pressure back down to normal)…I need to look into her other works. Fabulous job Rachel, I loved the series and sad that it is over.

OK. This book was a huge disappointment. First of all, there was pretty much nothing to the book except Eden being stuck in a castle, and all of the things she does to avoid being bored. That, and her constantly trying not to obsess over Kiran. Blah. It was so boring! Sure, she manages to convert some people to her cause through not much effort on her own part. But really there was NOTHING exciting the whole way through. And then there's the end. The first few books, even though they got slow in OK. This book was a huge disappointment. The first few books, even though they got slow in the middle (though not nearly as slow as this one) had very redeeming endings. Very epic, exciting, BIG endings. And I expected this one to be the same, or better! But NOOOO. The ending/climax/resolving of the series pretty much only lasted for two chapters. There was barely any battle-scene, and I could already see what was going to happen a mile away. There was nothing unexpected. I had no emotional connection or response in this one. :( Of course I knew who she would end up with, and it felt nice that Eden finally caught on as well. And I very much appreciate that every bit of the wedding night was left to the imagination (besides a slight mention of them wanting to rip each others uncomfortable wedding clothes off later). So much potential, so wasted on a lame last book.. . . Oh well. Off to find something hopefully better to spend my time on.

I absolutely LOVED the whole star-cross series from beginning to end. Even after I read it I forgot about it and just recently I had surgery so I have a Bazillion hours to kill just sitting in bed doing nothing. I've read so many books and have so many in my to read pile but I found this in my ereader and remembered reading it a while back. Two days and four books later I still love it. Eden is headstrong and exciting. She's kickass when she wants to be but yet she can be normal as you and me. Ki I absolutely LOVED the whole star-cross series from beginning to end. Kiran is a true romantic prince of all time, In my head he would be the blonde version of Kellan lutz. Then there is Avalon who I fell in love with! The rebellious leader who fights for what is right. Even Talbot- Kiran's bodyguard was a loveable character. All the characters in the series are so loveable and have a good sense of humor. They should really do a movie on this. I bet the "magic" parts would be so cool. It would be an all around action, thriller, romance, drama, comedy all in one. (Sorry if some of this doesn't make sense and skipping all over the place I am on some strong pain meds.) In my top 5 of book series I've read.

I had to mull this series over a bit prior writing this...I wanted to write something - but what...here goes: I fell in love with so many of the characters in this series. It was so easy to feel their frustrations, heartache, and affection. It was easy to get pulled into this series. That's what I like most about a book - finding one to just get lost in for a little while. That being said, I really hated the ending. Why, you ask? Well that's just it. It ended. I will say this..I liked the ending, but everything before that...I'm not so sure. It wasn't very well-written & it had a lot of errors. Why wasn't it edited better? I got really tired of Eden's temper tantrums and Rachel made her seem so immature. I know that she's only 17, but she's an Immortal/Oracle so shouldn't she be more than a hormonal, confused, moody teenager? She really needed to rise to the occasion in this final book. I really liked the first couple of books in the series but this one dragged on and was soooo boring. I feel like if the book was about 100 pages shorter it would be a lot better. There were some parts that honestly so unescary and did nothing to the plot. Pretty much most of the book is just Eden whining about how she doesn't love Kiran and it is so frustrating. Quite a disappointing end to a series that really had great potential. This book seemed like it would never end. The star-crossed series, by Rachel Higginson,is truly one of the best set of books I have read. One of the best series ever! What a LOOOOOONG way to get to the right person, and I will admit, I was cheering for J before falling for K. The ending was amazing, a little quick...and I would have loved to read about the wedding and the rise of a new kingdom. BUT I got my happily ever after and lack of sleep :)
