The fight scenes are awesome! I also liked how it flowed, parts didn't drag like how some sci-fi books do. The author is especially cool people and I can't wait to read book 2. Keep it coming Chris! The book itself reads like its based on feudal China, but there is where all the similarities end. The plot is well defined for this particular book, as it is the first one. It, in a way, is setting the boundaries and the definitions of the main players. The action is detailed, characters are well thought out and developed, romance is there( even though it is a tragic one), but that's what defines a hero.
