I bought this for a dollar at a used book sale because I wanted a basic reference on graph theory. "Looks exciting," said the woman who sold it to me. Not in a mean way, just in a joking-around-making-conversation way. Unfortunately I was lost in my thoughts at the time and wasn't able to manage much more than a nod in response. I hope she didn't think I was annoyed with her. What someone needs to invent is a banter rewind button, so that these interchanges always have satisfying endings.
